"Well done," Edward clapped his hands. “Now let me save you!”

Before anyone could react, he lunged forward, grabbed Nicholas, and threw him onto the operating table.

With a swift pat on the back of Nicholas's head, he knocked him out cold.

"What are you doing!!?" Ray suddenly tensed up.

The other bodyguards exchanged worried glances, unsure of what to do.

"No worries," Edward said coldly. "Come on, how can I operate if I don't knock him out first?"

The group nodded, familiar with the need for anesthesia before surgery, but they had never seen someone knocked out cold before an operation.

However, they dared not question it, having witnessed how Edward had sewn a snake-skin coat onto his tiger.

They thought that a divine physician must have divine methods.

"Well done! It’s great for you having knocked him out!"

Ray gave Edward a thumbs-up, and the others echoed,

"Well done! Well done!"

Suddenly, Edward pulled out a blade no bigger than a fingernail from his pocket and made a swift incision in Nicholas's stomach. The blade was razor-sharp, and in no time, it opened a large wound.

Miraculously, not a single drop of blood was shed, as if Nicholas weren't a living being.

The onlookers were frozen in shock, their expressions a mix of disbelief and horror.

Damn! Was this young man before them a god or a mortal?

Edward paid them no mind. Without a word, he swiftly opened the wound wider, revealing Nicholas's internal organs laid bare before him.

"Disgusting, it's like a scene from hell.” He frowned.

Gazing for a while, he continued,

“Well, if not me, then who?"

Suddenly, Edward began to suck vigorously with his mouth.

In no time, a basin beside the operating table was filled with dark liquid.

Then, Edward popped some black pills from his pocket into his mouth.

He chewed them, and to everyone's amazement, his mouth and face became cleaner and smoother than before.

After that, he spat the chewed medicine onto Nicholas's body, and miraculously, Nicholas's body began to heal itself, leaving no scars.

Next, with a slap to Nicholas's face, he made him wake up.

He felt no pain, jumped off the operating table, and felt lighter than before.

"Alright, I've removed all the issues from your body," Edward said, a hint of fatigue on his face.

Instantly, Nicholas fell to his knees again.

"You’re like a parent who has given me a new life."

Thud. He kowtowed again.

"Come on, stop doing this like a fool! I hate to see you doing this. Well,  don't get too excited yet; the tumor in your brain is still there."

"Is that so?" Nicholas's face showed a hint of worry. "Then please remove it for me."

“What a greedy fool you are! Can’t you see I’ve lost a lot of my own energy just now?

Do you want me to risk my own life to save you?”

"No, no," Nicholas quickly apologized. "That's not what I meant."

"What do you mean then?"

Nicholas was momentarily speechless.

Suddenly, Edward tossed a worn green bottle to Nicholas.

"There are some pills inside. Take one three times a day for five days."

Nicholas nodded vigorously, not daring to speak, knowing any words would be met with scolding.

"Are you mute? Can you not speak? Do you understand me ?"

"Understood, understood!" Nicholas quickly replied.

As the CEO of Nicholas Pharmaceutical Group, he had never been treated this way before.

However, he was grateful deep down, feeling that even the scolding of the young man before him was a form of blessing.

"Rest for the next few days and get better," Edward's tone softened slightly. "I will come to your home in five days to address the problem in your brain."

Nicholas felt a weight lifted.

"Thank you, my savior, for your generous help. I'm relieved. So what about the medical f*e?"

"You know the rules," Edward said indifferently.

"I do, I do. As the CEO of Nicholas Pharmaceutical Group, I will transfer 30% of my company's shares to you as your life-saving f*e. Is that okay?"

"You've paid your consultation f*e," Edward said nonchalantly. "We'll discuss the rest later.

Let me tell you, I don't need money, but it represents your sincerity. Remember, one of my rules is not to treat those who value wealth over life.

My consultation f*e is not expensive, right?"

"Not at all!" Nicholas blurted out. "You saving my worthless life is my greatest honour. Alright then, my savior, I will be waiting for your honoured presence at my home in five days."

"Stop calling me my savior; you can call me Edward."

"Yes, yes," Nicholas said like a docile sheep. "Is there anything else you command?"

"Yes, get lost now!  I need to rest."

"Yes, yes."

Nicholas and his men quickly jumped into their tactical vehicle.

Jack floored the gas, and the car shot off like a mad bull.

Once they had left, Edward suddenly pulled out a long dagger and stabbed it straight into his own chest.

Thud.
