The man announces, "ALL PARTICIPANTS WHO HAVE BEEN INJURED IN THE ROUND! PLEASE GO TO THE INFIRMARY IN PREPARATION FOR THE NEXT BATTLE!"
Taya stepped down from the rock wall she made. After she walked a few meters, she stepped down from the ring to the ground.
"HEY!" Hazel called out to her.
Taya gazed back. However, she chose to ignore her and proceeded to walk toward the waiting room.
"She fights Trif all brave and that but she's no better than him..." she thought.
She sighed.
"People here sure are different from back there," she mumbled.
The students of Team C went inside the same room as her. Hazel soon followed after.
The man announced more details, "WE WILL NOW BE PREPARING CLEAN-UP FOR THE NEXT BATTLE! WE HUMBLY ASK FOR YOUR PATIENCE! THANK YOU!" he bowed and brought his face back up, then proceeded to do the task of helping out with the cleaning team in the background.
Inside the waiting room, Hazel sat dow
Trif and Hazel stared at each other. He taunted her with his index finger, "Come."She charged toward him.She cast a spell in her mind, "CREATE FLOUR!"She sprayed some of it on Trif.He covered his face with his arms so that some wouldn't get into his eyes."Copying that brat's technique? That won't work on me."He analyzed its texture by rubbing it with his thumb and index finger."What is this? It's fine, so it's not sand. Is it some kind of powder? What's the meaning of this?" he wondered."Hey Trif, if you can take some of my blows then I'm sure you can be able to take an explosion right?""What?""Wait... is she talking about some sort of chemical reaction?" he hypothesized.A light blue flame appeared on her right hand and it shot toward him.He jumped to his left to avoid it, but once the flour caught contact with the flame, it created a dust explosion, getting him caught in it. He wa
"Let's see," Hazel said.Trif examined outside the stadium to see that his lackeys and Taya, are unconscious and out of bounds."Those good-for-nothings..."He examined Oltrin, "He's as good as dead."He turned his gaze to Hazel."Hey, as you can see, we are the only ones standing on this stage, with that in mind, no one can come to interrupt us now, so let's go to the middle. Just in case one of us gets launched outside the ring, we wouldn't want that would we?" he explained."...No, no, we wouldn't."They approached the center of the ring."Don't you dare use this opportunity to attack me from behind," she warned."Rest assured, I may be someone who gives no value to things such as pride, but I'm no cheat, at least when I propose it, I'd probably only do it when I'm not confident in my skill.""Wow, how noble..." she said sarcastically. They arrived at their meeting point and positioned themselves.
"With this, I've already won the tournament," Trif stated full of confidence. He giggled and then turned his attention to Hazel."Can't wait to see your face once I do."The game master reported, "ALL PARTICIPANTS WHO HAVE BEEN INJURED IN THE ROUND! PLEASE GO TO THE INFIRMARY IN PREPARATION FOR THE NEXT EVENT!"Two men carried Hazel on their backs and entered the waiting room.......Phize woke up. He was lying down on a bed and was surrounded by medical appliances."What happened? Where am I?" he wondered. He examined his surroundings."Looks like a clinic," he figured. He paused in thought and then attempted to stand up."Wait, if I'm here... then..."He sat back down in disappointment."I lost to them.""Right after I said, I'd do my best too," he thought.A woman in white clothing resembling a nurse opened the door. She gazed at him."You're finally awa
Hi guys! It's me, Ameron Werschrux! The author! Phew, I've been trying my best to update daily for the past few days, but sooner or later, I might go back to my usual 2-3 day update, because school has been punishing recently. The next 6 chapters or so, will be a resting arc, I'm sure you know what that means, but not filler, because making and imagining all those consecutive fights was exhausting but they sure were worth it! So anyway, I wanted to say hi to my fans and I'm super thankful for all of your support thus far! I'm still a new writer so I hope I can hear your thoughts, opinions, and quite possibly reviews, it gives me motivation! Don't be shy, you can even ask questions here if you want, I might quite possibly answer them. With that, I hope everyone has a good day and see you later!
They arrived home. Phize opened the door to their room and once Lexia caught a glimpse of him, she came running to him and embraced him. "You're finally home..." she said. "Of course, I am," Phize said. She saw the shining steel sword dragged on the floor and then looked at Vhint. He nodded to her. "I see," she said. His two younger siblings, Laze and Lizia, came from behind her and hugged their older brother. "Woah." He patted both of their heads. "Mom said you fought some bad guys, you're so cool!" Laze praised. "I missed you, big brother," Lizia stated. "I missed both of you two. Well then, how about I tell you both all about it!" "SURE!" Lizia cheered. "I'd like to hear all about it!" Laze cheered as well. "I had a lot of fun that day, I was once more reminded of how lucky I was, to feel the comfort of a family, a feeling that I've longed for so far. Finally, I'm home," he rec
"Oi, oi, where did this sassy attitude come from?" Phize asked.Hazel sighed."I'm just pissed that I got beaten and humiliated in front of the whole school.""Hmmm..."He put his finger on his chin and lost himself in thought......."I wouldn't really say that. You beat him up, didn't you? I heard from others," he said. She gazed back at him."I swear, if I see him again, I'll beat him up.""I'd like to order a first-class seat just to see that happen.""Yeah...""I think I've overstayed my welcome. All in all, that's what I've come here to say.""I personally don't mind but if it's time for you to go back, then I can't really do anything can I?"He walked to the door and turned its knob."See ya.""Bye."He left through the door and closed it from behind."A party, huh?" he mumbled to himself."I wonder who hosted it."He set his sig
They walked outside the school, into the pathway, and ultimately reached the hotel Phize lived in. He gulped."Please don't overreact. Please don't overreact. Please don't overreact. Please don't overreact," he hoped in his greatest dreams. He inhaled heavily and then looked at Hazel."Okay, I have to let you know that my parents can be kind of... eccentric. So here's what I want you to say, whenever they ask if you're my girlfriend, tell them no, if they ask you why we took long, tell them that I visited a friend. And at this point, I think you already get the point," he explained."Why can't you tell them yourselves?""They don't take a word I say for granted. PLEASE, JUST PLEASE DON'T MAKE THEM GO CRAZY!" he begged."Hm, let's see what I can do."They both went up the stairs. They approached the door. He inhaled heavily one more time and he exhaled right after. He slowly turned its knob."MOM, I'M HO-""A GIRL! I
Both of them appeared in a place with a floor made out of rocks, though not bulky nor rough."What just happened?" Phize asked."I'm dumbfounded," Hazel stated. They looked around."Where's dad? Where's the guy that transported us?"Hazel ignored his statement because she was staring at something from afar. She called out to him, "Phize, Phize, look."She pointed out north."Hm?"He proceeded to see where she pointed."WOAH!"They appeared to be in front of a large structure that was made of alternating ceramic pillars and hints of brick painted with shades of sky blue, white, and beige. A big sign engraved at the top of what appeared to be an entrance clearly wrote 'GARLAN RESORTS' in cursive writing. It was guarded by a single person wearing a violet uniform and dark blue pants."Did we... actually arrive?" she asked in disbelief."Woah...""Dad... you have some very scary acquaintances," he
Hello fans! Sorry for the wait. I have been especially busy with school and a lot of personal stuff happened too. I'm back in business!... or so I'd like to say but that hiatus made me a bit lax so I need to write more and more to recover my memories of where we left off and the speed of my typing. I apologize for having no updates upon the series for months. Please continue to give me your support, give your comments if you'd like, give your reviews, I'm all up for it. Without further ado, let's finally give an end to Phize's tale. We're about halfway through so please bear with me until then okay? Thank you for your continued support! And thank you for reading this far into the series!
Guys, I really apologize for not updating for so long. My parents do not allow me to write, and it's a lot harder especially since I'm in high school, so I have to focus a bit more on my studies. However, that doesn't mean I'm abandoning this series or the other, it's just on hold. I'm unsure if I can update at the same time as Mob, but I will try to update in summer as well, so please look forward to it. Please continue to follow my series and follow my twitter if you can. You can simply search my author name and it pops up. Thank you for understanding! And that is all for now!
That's it for now for the mass posting. I want to spend at least my New Year's by playing and doing dumb stuff and whatnot. So I will go on an indefinite hiatus once more. I will mass-post when I have enough. Thank you all for reading my story and for reaching it this far. I hope you continue to support me even when I am away. Don't forget to join my discord server (it's in the synopsis) if you want. Thank you all for your support and this is me signing off for the year! Have a great New Year!
"To make me say that would have to take a bit of convincing, I'm afraid," Phize stated."Not convinced after seeing my face?""Mmmm, nope. Anyway, have your parents visited you?""Just normal talk," he thought."Nope.""Why?""Busy on taking land domain. Both of them.""I seem to think I'm the only one with decent parents this time around," he thought."I see. Do you miss them?""Why are you here?" she asked."Yikes, she ignored my question. She must really hate me," he surmised, "I've got a long way ahead of me.""If you came here to interrogate me, I insist you get your eyes checked and get out of here. I might get infected by your miasma.""Can't back down. I have to set my status to be someone at least equal to her," he thought."Woah, calm down. Just wanted to get to know you better.""Well, I'm not willing.""We're going to be seeing each other for a few days or weeks to pass. You can't find yourself chatting with Qi or Trod only.""Ahem, I can choose who to speak with. It is so
"C-Cursed Child?" Taya asked as she got up."Please address me by my real name," Phize suggested."Hearing her say the name from her own mouth makes me feel like it's an insult. I rather her call me Phize," he thought."Wh-Where am I?""The doctors can answer that for you."They ambushed Taya. She asked all kinds of questions and so did the doctors."Don't let me regret my decision," Phize mumbled to himself. He left the room and peacefully walked in the hallways. He got lost in his own mind that he did not notice how much time passed by and how many medical personnel got past him."Hm… never imagined my thought process was capable of forming such inhumane thoughts."There was a slight halt to his speculation."Well, that might be the case when I do not refer to humans. She did not treat me like a human and as implied just now, she still does not. So, if she doesn't treat me like one… why do I have to treat her as such? I have no obligation to.""This is the path I chose. If I have to
Phize called for the doctors, and they scurried to the room.Once they entered, they saw that Vhint held Harris's hand and grasped it firmly. It almost seemed like the two were once close. The scenery could be interpreted as a person mourning the comatose of a dear best friend."Dad?" Phize asked with the arrival of the doctors.Vhint faced them with flowing tears."Did we… interrupt something?" Phize questioned."No, no…"Vhint stood up and stepped aside."Please… go ahead."The doctors surrounded Harris.Phize faced his father."Father… do you happen to know Harris? Were you close with him?"Vhint made an obvious excuse. The time it took to get the answer hinted at it."… I'm just an empathetic person. When I saw how badly injured he was, it made me cry. How a person went through such pain… makes me feel pity.""I can tell what he said was a half-truth. But even so, that reasoning of his is very endearing, and it is obvious he still has some demons to fight. I will respect that," Ph
Welson was inside the room he entered. He stared blankly at the book that was on top of the desk."Phize… Gratham… Drestil… that kid… how could I ever forget his face?"He remembered the time he kept punching his face 7 years ago."My daughter… I already accepted that it wasn't your fault. I already knew the truth by then. But why… why did you have to get involved with my son… OF ALL PEOPLE?!"He banged the desk. His breathing began to increase in frequency. This, later on, calmed down."How am I supposed to think you're innocent when you downright kill him?"He felt conflicted. He put his head on the book and placed his hands on top of his head.He whispered, "… Stop haunting me… Leave me alone… Why did you have to interfere… Get out of my head… Get out of my head… Get out of my head… Get out of my head… Get out of my head… Get out of my head…"He kept on muttering the same phrase over and over again, steadily increasing in tone and volume."Get out of my head… Get out of my head… GE
The children at the beach were playing with a ball. It was very reminiscent of the last happy memory he ever formed back in the past world. … .. . 25 years ago, in Germany. It was a very snowy day. There was a young boy who held the hands of his parents. He was stepping playfully on the snow that formed at their feet. All of them had red beanies and brown boots. His parents wore brown trenches and blue-green gloves, while the little kid had a thick blue sweater and green mittens just right for his size. The kid counted his steps. "One, two, three, four…" The family arrived at a park. There, they met up with another family who also had their son. They had similar attire. They nudged their son. "Come on, Ansgar." The parents of the first and second families met up, leaving the two children be. "U-Uh, 'sup," Ansgar answered nervously. "Hm? Why so nervous?" the other child asked. "I mean, seeing each other after school still really strikes me as odd… so…" "Ah, is that so…
On top of a tall and flat building, there was a man who had blonde hair, and brown eyes and wore a clear white robe that extended from his shoulders to his legs. He wore a necklace shaped like a diamond with a star in the middle, and in the middle of that star was an eye, made of metal. He kept watch over the city below."Such beautiful scenery…" he uttered.A man in a thick cream and brown robe approached him, who also wore the same necklace whispered into his ear."Mhm… Mhm… What? Wait, what? Could you repeat that again? You can speak up, we are the only ones here," he permitted. The man took a few steps back and cleared his throat."Ehem… I have received leaks from the mouths of the Alganists. According to what I have heard, they declared that Spellmaster was dead and that they were cheering because they were on their way to conquering the minds of the people.""Wh-What is the meaning of this?! Spellmaster… is dead? Is that information accurate?""It has been confirmed by two such
