They walked outside the school, into the pathway, and ultimately reached the hotel Phize lived in. He gulped.
"Please don't overreact. Please don't overreact. Please don't overreact. Please don't overreact," he hoped in his greatest dreams.
He inhaled heavily and then looked at Hazel.
"Okay, I have to let you know that my parents can be kind of... eccentric. So here's what I want you to say, whenever they ask if you're my girlfriend, tell them no, if they ask you why we took long, tell them that I visited a friend. And at this point, I think you already get the point," he explained.
"Why can't you tell them yourselves?"
"They don't take a word I say for granted. PLEASE, JUST PLEASE DON'T MAKE THEM GO CRAZY!" he begged.
"Hm, let's see what I can do."
They both went up the stairs. They approached the door. He inhaled heavily one more time and he exhaled right after. He slowly turned its knob.
"MOM, I'M HO-"
"A GIRL! I
Both of them appeared in a place with a floor made out of rocks, though not bulky nor rough."What just happened?" Phize asked."I'm dumbfounded," Hazel stated. They looked around."Where's dad? Where's the guy that transported us?"Hazel ignored his statement because she was staring at something from afar. She called out to him, "Phize, Phize, look."She pointed out north."Hm?"He proceeded to see where she pointed."WOAH!"They appeared to be in front of a large structure that was made of alternating ceramic pillars and hints of brick painted with shades of sky blue, white, and beige. A big sign engraved at the top of what appeared to be an entrance clearly wrote 'GARLAN RESORTS' in cursive writing. It was guarded by a single person wearing a violet uniform and dark blue pants."Did we... actually arrive?" she asked in disbelief."Woah...""Dad... you have some very scary acquaintances," he
Hazel faced Phize."So, what should we do?" she asked him."I don't know, maybe laze around?""IT'S PHIZE, THE CURSED CHILD!" Jonan pointed out from the crowd.Phize looked at him."Who is this person again?" he wondered. His classmates chattered about him."Goodness, why did they invite him?" Ermes asked."Why is he here? He'll bring the witches..." Chastice complained.Hazel stared at her fellow students, bad-mouthing the person beside her. She was enraged, that she gripped her fists.Drist threw a glass of orange at Phize. The glass hit him and spilled on his face and his shirt."LEAVE HERE CURSED CHILD!" he yelled out aloud.Taya was watching the crowd rant in anger. Qi tapped her shoulder, troubled about a particular issue."Hey, they're starting a commotion, shouldn't you stop them?" he questioned."Why? I don't have any reason nor have the obligation to help him. I don't really c
Without noticing, 5 days had already passed by. It was the final day of the vacation.Phize was in his room, he woke up from his bed."It's almost time for the next party, eh?" he said.He opened the door. Once he opened the door, Hazel coincidentally opened hers."Well, what a coincidence. Wanna go exploring again?" she asked."Hmmm. I feel like we should go join the party this time.""Are you sure? They're gonna tease you," she worriedly asked."Let them. At this point, their words mean nothing to me, except that I probably take Cursed Child as a compliment at this point, OOH, never knew I'd have a grand title at a young age.""Are you REALLY REALLY sure? Don't come crying to me, if they tease you too hard.""Oi, being a little bit too harsh in the morning, aren't you?""I'd call that normal.""Come on, let's just go down," he told her. They arrived at the ground floor. The students were gathered there as usual.Taya stood in front of the stage, like last time, and had a magic circl
Back at the hotel he lived in, inside his room, he was lying on his bed, cogitating over what he had just learned."I... don't know what to feel. Ansgar is here... but am I supposed to be happy or sad?"After a short assessment of his own feelings, he got an answer."I feel both.""Why is he here? How did he get here?" he asked himself......."I'll have to ask her when we go back to school..." he figured."One week left before we go back to school... time goes by so fast..."He touched his right chest."My heart... it's pounding. I'm nervous," he perceived. He rose from his bed."No use worrying about it for now. But I sure have a lot of questions for...""Uh, how should I refer Ansgar or Hazel now? Him or her?" he pondered. He smirked maliciously."Maybe I'll tease him about it."Lexia barged into his room."PHIZE!"He had a heart attack."WAH!"He stared at his mom."Oh, it's just you mom. Please don't surprise me like that.""Aw, what a killjoy. But... DID YOU BRING ANY FOOD? SO
Phize went back to class and sat on his chair."Where in the world is she?" he pondered.Hasha arrived back at the classroom. She went in front of the class."Class, I have an announcement to make. Due to arguments among the higher-ups, classes will be dismissed early throughout the whole school. Stay tuned for further announcements. With that, class dismissed, feel free to contact your parents."She left the room. The students stood up from their desks and packed up their bags."You've gotta be kidding me," he thought. He rose from his desk and went outside the classroom. He looked around the hallway."HAZEL?""God, why are you so against me? All I want is to ask her a question," he asked himself. An hour went by, it was now clear, no students were lurking inside the classrooms."She never went back."He went through the hallway and down the stairs. He went to the entrance, but he stopped in his steps in his cognizance."WAIT!"He facepalmed."I should've waited at the entrance inste
Grendall watched from a dark corner. He deeply sighed."This is going to cost us our reputation..."Eauvis continued, "With the knowledge that all of your parents have signed the form. That means they agree to participate in this activity as well as the fact that the activity starts now.""WHAT? MOM REALLY SIGNED SOMETHING THIS CRAZY? MOM, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?" Phize panicked."I will be calling the team numbers one by one. The people associated with said group MUST go down the auditorium and Miss Hasha here *he points to Hasha who is beside him* and she will be providing you with the necessary equipment to prepare you for this wondrous event."He cleared his throat and began calling, "TEAM 1!"4 people stood up from the stadium and went down the stairs. This went on for quite a while."TEAM 109!"Phize was silently waiting for his number to be spoken out."TEAM 156!"4 more students went down the stairs. He looked cautiously around his surroundings."This is making me nervous," he
"OKAY! OKAY! Since none of us can decide who's leader, then how about we decide upon it with a game of chance," Hazel proposed. "I say arm wrestling," Trif replied. "Dumbass, you'll win. That's unfair." "ALRIGHT! LET'S JUST POINT AT THE PERSON WE WANT THE MOST TO BE THE LEADER!" Phize yelled. They nodded in agreement since they were already in dire need of a leader. They pointed to whoever they wanted to be a leader. Phize pointed at Hazel, but she pointed at Trif since she realized that Phize may still be suffering from trauma. Trif pointed at himself, but Lili pointed at Phize since she believed Trif was more ill-mannered to his teammates and Hazel as someone she thought was quite dumb because of how easily she was manipulated from the competition. Of course, Hazel herself harbored feelings of anger toward Lili for doing such an act. However, she was still displeased with the results of the proposed way. "AHHH! THIS IS GETTING NOWHERE! LET'S JUST DO THE ARM WRESTLING!" They ju
"We've been avoiding confronting each other for a few days now, I've had it. Hazel, err, Ansgar, how did you get here? What happened back in Germany? Why are you with me right now?" Phize asked her.She didn't answer him, she simply stared at him until she suddenly walked and stood beside him. She sighed."I didn't want to reveal this, but I guess nothing stays secret forever, does it?"She looked at the ceiling then she began speaking, "My name was Angar Wegener, son of Luitpold Wegener and Anika Wegener. When I was a child, I had no particular interest in any activity, this continued on for a few years till I was age 4. I stumbled upon a game, though, I don't remember what exactly it was, it gave me pleasure, and it was the only thing that I could have an interest in."He listened carefully to her backstory. She continued, "Then at age 5, I met you. I saw you being shunned by your hobby and such, but I found it fascinating on my end, I hoped we could've been partners, where you were
