Chapter 7: The Travelers

In a forest full of darkness. An ambush has occurred in an unknown part of the world somewhere on the far side of the northeast. Fighting is occurring in the forest, shurikens and kunais are flying side by side and unknown Swordsmens are blowing and dodging in the dark forest. 

Two-hundred in fifty tall dense big trees in the unknown Dark forest. Swords fighting in the shadows as suddenly a thunder occurred in the clouds making it rains droplets. Five uniformed swordsmens we're dead and can be seen in sight in the distance outside the dense forest towards the unknown far side of the northeast where it's currently unexplored.

Three unknown people walk out in the forest and look straight ahead dead five people with the same uniform as them. They're holding their swords on the right side as the wind blows.

The three of them are wearing pink and red kimonos. The middle of the three is a chief, long-haired girl and pink hair holding her sword in her right hand as blood is dripping and droplets on her head.

"We did not make it in time! Chief," a girl said furiously on the right side of the chief. The three of them are girls as the other one on the left has a scythe on her back attached to her kimono.

"This place is unexplored, I ordered them to..." the girl in the middle of them both said as she suddenly sense something in the distance. Another forest is way ahead.

"We have to avenge them!" the girl said on her left side. She begins to walk but suddenly stops as the girl in the middle stop her. 

"We can't, we need to go back, Kuroshika. It's too dangerous, I'll take the responsibility for the death of our teammates," she said as the three of them suddenly vanished.

Kaminari Raiu of the west and northeast is riding a steam train going towards the north. He's inside of the steam train eating some dumplings on his table sitting near the window.

The steam train is moving as he eats his delicious meal. Behind him and on the right side of him are other seats and a door in front of the back of the cart. 

He's near the front of the train control room on the right side of his seat is Shinwa and Geri both tied up hands and don't have consciousness but breathing. The steam train is making some noise as the engineer of the steam train in the control room put more coal burning so that the steam train could go even faster.

He looked out in the window on the left side of him as he eats. His mouth is full as he turns to his right and sees Geri and Shinwa sitting. "Good! You're both awake! Now be patient and wait, here have a meal," He said as he throws two rounds of rice in front of them where there was a table. 

Also, the place of Kaminari Raiu has a table and a chair on the other side of the table in front of him enough for three people. "You both can eat even though both of your hands are tied up," He said as he takes another bite of his round rice.

"What the hell is this thing? A steam train..." Geri said as he answered his question and look around the inside of the steam train. 

"This is such crap, I can't believe this is the place you bring us," Shinwa said as he looked out the window to his right and sees the giant mountains in the far distance. 

"That man would be furious, I believe that this thunder swordsman leave his body in there, tsk...! I can't believe how much time that take and we got defeated by a mere rookie," Shinwa said in his mind as he looked out in the window. 

He heavily breathes and leans in the sit. He looked up and he feels that his eyes is heavy. He slowly falls asleep and begins snoring. 

"I receive information from our chieftain that travelers have seen lurking around in our land in the northeast we heard a lot but not seen a lot," Kaminari Raiu said as he stands.

"This is a private seat, no one can hear us from here, I need to know if you peoples have travelers lurking in other nations and lands and cities and villages?" Kaminari Raiu asks as Geri looks down at his table and stares at the round rice. 

He turns to his left and begins to walk toward Geri. "You won't die if you tell me, and you also won't die you will be only sent to jail, imprisoned until we caught all of you're men and leaders behind the man leading you... Make sure you don't doubt and don't die if I'm not mistaken, someone has been following us since I caught you both, now if you refuse to tell me, it's fine." He said as he suddenly vanished and the wind blew at Geri.

He slowly looks to his left and sees Kaminari Raiu the thunder swordsman, not insight. He's confused and can't decide on his own as he looks like a broken and mentally broken-down man. 

Kaminari doesn't know that Geri is having a headache. He closes his eyes and leans his head on the table and slowly falls asleep. The sun is shining up brightly in the sky. The steam train is bypassing the giant mountains in the far distance between the west and north seeing it also from the giant mountain in the east where the steam train road is built.

Kaminari Raiu is walking on top of the steam train. In front of him are the giant mountains of the north and west in the far distance to his right. He turned around and begin to walk as he was dressed up wearing three layers of kimono and boots with his thunder sword on the left side of his waist.

He begins to walk as he's currently on guard and knows bad things can happen anytime. The steam train is on its way to its destination. At least a couple more kilometers. 

He's walking towards the back of the train that has a couple of civilians. At the top of the steam train is a little flat roof. He stops and inhales and exhales as he feels free and peaceful. 

"It's been four years since I got back to the northeast, this place not much has changed, it's still peaceful... It's afternoon," He said as he begins to walk again. He is calmly walking towards the back of the steam train. The steam train has five cars in the back. The sixth one is the main room which is the control room of the train.

As he stood at the back of the steam train third in the cart, he felt people at the bottom of the mountain, in a dense forest to his left as he walked. He felt them following the steam train since it had left. 

He smiled secretly as the train he was riding down from the mountain, they were about to pass through the dense forest below, yet the steam train passed on the left where the train track goes one more straight left and right. Kaminari Raiu stopped in his position and he knelt on his left knee as he gradually closed his eyes, he knew at any time he could attack them if they were opponents.

They're on the way down towards the dense forest near the northeast. "The Travelers... The most mysterious things to ever exist in this world and probably one of the most dangerous unknowns that I could fight but I can't wait to see how powerful they are, if these men are travelers I might need some reinforcements," Kaminari Raiu said in his mind as he continued to kneel and close his eyes and focus. 

The engineers of the steam who work to move the steam train are looking outside in the window and see in front of them that the dense forest is not its normal color.

In the distance in the dense forest, it's dark. "Let Kaminari Raiu know this!" an unknown engineer said as he shouts to one of his men inside the control room. A man quickly opened the door and run towards the back. 

They go into the dense forest. They're following the track as everything inside around the dense forest is foggy and somewhat dark. Kaminari Raiu gradually opened his eyes and sees that they'd entered the forest.

"This forest is not usually like this, all I know is this is the opposite of Kartirya in the southeast where no one is currently living in my info," he said as he looked left and right and up and sees the giant three hundred feet tall dense trees. The trees are massive and the leaves, it's blocking the light.

The fog is getting thinner and thinner as they get into the dense forest near the southeast. 

"Such wilderness." 

From a distance insight, Kaminari Raiu's eyes can be seen glowing yellow-orange color. Still symbolizing a thunder swordsman.

He stands up as suddenly two men show up behind and in front of him. Behind him is a dark swordsman wearing a funny mask and wearing a back kimono, he has his sword pointed right at his neck, and the other swordsman who has the same outfit as the other dark swordsman has his sword pointed at Kaminari's chest. 

He quickly kneels to dodge the attack both of the swordsmen change position. Kaminari Raiu holds his sword in his left ready to pull out. 

Suddenly the swordsman in front of him who was behind him last time turned around and flew at Kaminari and swing his sword.

He quickly pulled out his sword and their swords collided making a great impact. The citizens hear the sword collide below them and know nothing of what's happening.

Kaminari is getting pushed back a little bit as the swordsman behind him throws his sword pointing at his head. He quickly turned around and see it in his left eye and quickly dodge to his right and flew behind him in the dense forest getting off the steam train. 

The sword that the enemy through stabs the other swordsman in the face killing it. Kaminari was in a commotion as he got off the running train.

The swordsman that got killed slowly falls dead and gradually goes to the left where his body falls off the train. The swordsman who threw his sword is furious as he stands up don't know what to do. More swordsmens arrive wearing the same outfit as him but different masks. 

"Why happened?" An unknown swordsman arrived and ask behind him. "He's fast... He falls on the train with Bura who I assume is also dead, he manages to grab my sword in time and stab him..." the man answered who doesn't have a sword. There are five of them on top of the train. The man lies as the four of them vanished leaving him behind.

After a couple of minutes of thinking suddenly thunder occurred and suddenly the unknown swordsman slowly turns to his left and sees Kaminari Raiu who uses a technique. He swings his sword right at the neck of the unknown swordsman. 

He decapitated the unknown swordsman. He kneels and gradually stands. There's a thunder yellow particle around his body as he gradually stands. He's holding his sword in his right hand as he looked into the forest on the right side of him. 

The train is getting fastened and fast. The wind is blowing harder, his kimono is getting blown by the wind as he stands up straight. The thunder particle in his body slowly goes away. He turned to his right and walk toward the front of the train. He's on the fourth car of the train. 

He swings his sword in the air and slowly puts it back in his left waist. "Troublesome! There are four more of them but they're no big deal," Kaminari Raiu said as he vanished in the fog on top of the steam train.

Hirokushima and Kurokushima are walking towards the gate of the South. They're departing. Kurokushima Makure has his scythe on his back hanging on his kimono. His scythe is seven-foot-long glowing.

"You didn't tell me that you can cast spells and create magic... And it enhances your techniques and also your weapon, unbelievable. There are only a few swordsmen or swordswomen in this world who can use spells and magics like you." Hirokushima Makure said who is walking on the left side of Kurokushima. 

"And you?" he asks. "I don't know how to use magic or cast a spell, I can only wield and protect and also attack, I have some techniques it's sometimes impenetrable but to date, I don't know..." Hirokushima Makure answered as he lowered his head down.

His light blue sword seven-foot-long is also behind his kimono hanging attached to it. They still have their other katanas or sword on the left side of their waist.

They see the same guards in the distance standing menacingly at the front gate. They're blocking the gate again. Hirokushima Makure and Kurokushima Makure lowered their heads as they approached the guards.

"Looks like something happened and I think it's the light in the swordsmith village," Kurokushima Makure said speaking lightly and calmly.

"Such a hindrance," he said as he reaches the guards. The middle of them is the leader of the guard swordsmens who is now in front of Kuro. "Sorry to bother you both. We have an enemy or probably an ally lurking around the south, if you both have other men better tell it now or else... We will kill them." The leader said as he stand menacingly. 

The leader of the guard swordsmen is wearing a red kimono with a red normal sword on his waist and red-yellow boots. 

Kuro and Hiro look at each other as they stand up straight to the guards. "We didn't hear anything from the heads of the village, they only send duos like us. How many did you see lurking around outside the south village?" Kurokushima Makure asks as he speaks seriously. 

"A couple of them, no duos or anything, they're wearing a cape, you both looked at each other and raised each other heads at the same time, that's the sign of you both not lying to me. However, if this is not the order of the east deploying more men, this might be the travelers, they're pretty troublesome, and in the west, I've heard that they... Elect a new leader and now standing beyond the people this man has the control of the west, they say that the west other heads have passed away except one," the leader of the guard swordsmen answered as the two become serious. 

"We will take a look, if we see something in the way we will report to you immediately! We will use the steam train so that we can travel faster to the east, remember to don't die. If these people are travelers they could end the guards," Hirokushima Makure said as he sees the man nod. 

"You both are free to go!" the leader of the guard swordsmen said as he sees Kuro and Hiro nod and begin to walk. The guard's swordsmens give a way for them to walk past. 

"Travelers haven't heard for six years. I've heard that they destroy the hidden villages in the north and south and one day the nations almost perished, and the other nations almost perished," Hirokushima Makure said to Kurokushima on his right side.

They walked out the south in front of the giant gate. In front of them in the distance is the dense forest of the south. "Yeah, the other swordsmith villages they took everything in that village, the hidden swordsmith villages are supposed to be hidden from them all but suddenly these travelers ruined everything, but one day they will be the one who will perish, the heads in every nation launch a new hidden project that will end them." Hirokushima Makure said as they both vanished insight as the wind suddenly blows on their grounds.

They unvanished inside the dense forest of the south. They're normally running on a path. The dense forest is dark as they look up and sees the clouds above in the sky. 

"Do you have your coat?" Kuro asks as he continues to run with Hirokushima on his left side. "It's gonna rain heavily, and also don't let your guard down,"

"No I don't have my coat it's fine, let's get the job done going back in the southern part of the north," Hirokushima Makure answered as unexpectedly there's a tripwire on there in front of their feet.

Hirokushima feels the tripwire he walks past, he triggered it, and the tripwire split into two. He ignores it and continues to run. He looked at Kuro on his right and nodded 

They're looking around, they're moving their eyes everywhere as they continue to run and walk by past three hundred feet tall dense compact trees and leaves. There are massive branches of a tree above them. 

Suddenly behind them, an explosion occurred and make them hover a little bit but manage to withstand it. They stop and quickly turned around and see four big threes slowly go down and destroyed.

They position themselves and looked around. "Someone might have trapped this place, don't use your enchanted swords," Kurokushima Makure said as he pulled out his sword from the left of his waist using his right hand. Hiro did the same thing as they looked around them.

As they looked up and in the path they see a lot of trip wires connect to something in the bushes. "There's no way out of this," Hirokushima Makure said as he begins to walk towards the path that they were running to. 

"We need to walk, those traps will be removed once the south notice that their path towards the north, east, and west are blocked off because of this," Kurokushima Makure said as he smells something strange up above him.

"I smell gunpowders above us, we need to leave or else, the guards swordsmens hear that explosion, we should run and last those traps detonate," Kurokushima Makure said as he turn to his left and see Hiro nod.

They began to run along the path. They speed up and speed up as they looked around them. They're holding their swords in their right hand. 

Suddenly more explosions occurred behind them as they continue to run. The guard swordsmens in the south hears and see the explosion occurring from a distance. The leader of the guard swordsmen goes to the top of the wall to see the damage and the explosions. 

"Sir! That's the path where Kuro and Hiro run to! We sorcerers are sure that the path is trapped in," an unknown man said wearing a long coat cape. The leader of the guard swordsmen nodded to the man and looked outside from the top of the wall. He sees a lot of big trees falling in the far distance.

Suddenly unknown swordsmens are in the far distance in the southern part of the north are going towards the south. One of the unknown swordsmens has six arms and the other one has four and the other one has normal two arms with a scythe. The unknown who has six arms holds six different kinds of swords.

They're insight into the darkness, they move out from an unknown cave in the south part of the north wearing normal colored two layers of kimonos and boots. They're also in a forest where this forest has a dense fog that normal human beings can't see when this fog occurs right in time.
