Phantom Trace

The floor in the hall below Trapp was filled with blood and corpses. Apart from the captives, there was no one left alive, as they had all been instantly killed by the woman. None of the soldiers or even the captain had been able to resist at all before death had come to claim them.

The captives had a terrified look on their faces as they watched the blood flow out of the soldier's throats and pool at their feet. They all looked at the woman responsible for this massacre in horror and trepidation.

Their eyes didn't look like they were looking at a human and a comrade of theirs. Instead, it looked like they were seeing an unfamiliar monster. there was fear as well as a hint of awe at the woman's strength.
