Derick stood up from his chair, “Where is your kitchen?” He asked John. John did not understand why Derick asked where the kitchen was but he just replied, “It is right there.” John pointed at the kitchen. “Thanks.” Derick went to the kitchen leaving Celia and John alone in the living room. John and Celia looked at each other as they wondered why Derick went to the kitchen but as their eyes met they immediately removed their face from facing each other. Celia could tell that John did not like her but she did not care about that, she had never cared about what other people thought about her and definitely not now that she was going through a crises. And John did not like her because he never liked her behavior in school and with the prank she played on Derick confirmed it for him that she was not a good person. As the water from the shower went down her body, the dirts on her body washed off. She felt calm and relaxed but she did not know why. She thought about what John said about her when she left the living room but the thought went away because she did not care about it. But she did not blame them for not trusting her, she understood why. She now understand everything that was going on, why her father is on the run and also about the chemical. But she still wanted to see her father, she wanted to talk to him so he can stop all these before things gets out of control or before he ends up killing someone. She knew that if she stay with Derick, eventually her father will come for him and she will meet him, because after all Derick is with his chemical. Celia finished her food and dropped her plate on the table in front of her. John and Derick were surprised with how fast she finished the food, they understood that she was really hungry. “While we wait for my father I think I know someone that we can go to, he could try to help us figure out what is wrong with you.” Celia said. “Who is he? And why are you only telling us now?” John asked. “He is a scientist, my godfather.” Celia replied. “So another scientist now, how many scientist will get involved? “I need you help uncle ben, it is really important.” Celia said “Come in quickly.” Ben said. Ben opened the door fully and Celia, John and Derick entered the house. They were now in the house, and the interior was even more impressive. There were few furnitures, almost everything in the house was white including the walls. The house was spotless, there was no sign of dirt anyway. Ben went to a corner and started removing his masks and goggles. “Remove your shoes there and washed your hands there at that sink.” Ben said to them. Derick saw the sink when he came in but he did not know why the sink was right there close to the front door. Celia went on to the sink, she washed her hands and clean it with the towel next to the sink. It was 9:34pm and Dr. Daniel Colvert just arrived at the building where he thought that he was going to change things forever. His driver stopped him in front of the building and Dr. Daniel slowly came out of the car. Dr. Daniel was tall with a beard, a fair skin and wore spectacle. He came with his lab coat and obviously you could tell that he was a scientist and a really good one at that. Today was the day that almost all the great scientists gather in one building to discuss their discovery that could change the world and today Daniel got invited which he had been anticipating for a while. He thought of something else, he went to the car and open the door. “Get out of the car,” He told the driver. The driver was confused, he did not know what was going on but he could tell that Dr. Daniel was really tense and worried. “What happened sir? Did everything work out fine in there?” The driver said coming out of the car. “Everything went wrong and I want you to do something for me.” Dr. Daniel said. “I need you to take this chemicals and run away from here as fast as you can, do not let anyone see you, do not let anyone find you.” He gave the chemicals to the driver. “But sir…” The driver was about to say something but Dr. Daniel stopped him. “Just listen to me and don’t say anything. Go straight to my safe house, I will take the car and I will meet you there. Once you get there, stay there and wait for me.” Dr. Daniel said.
