Derick stood up from his chair, “Where is your kitchen?” He asked John.

John did not understand why Derick asked where the kitchen was but he just replied, “It is right there.” John pointed at the kitchen.

“Thanks.” Derick went to the kitchen leaving Celia and John alone in the living room.

John and Celia looked at each other as they wondered why Derick went to the kitchen but as their eyes met they immediately removed their face from facing each other.

Celia could tell that John did not like her but she did not care about that, she had never cared about what other people thought about her and definitely not now that she was going through a crises.

And John did not like her because he never liked her behavior in school and with the prank she played on Derick confirmed it for him that she was not a good person. He still does not understand what Derick sees in her.
