Tyler caught sight of his girlfriend bent by the wall in a doggy position with a guy thrusting deep into her from behind. They halted the act immediately Tyler barged into them. Thank Goodness it was meant to be a quickie. Charlotte only had her skirts rolled up.
"Charlotte!" Tyler exclaimed. His lips formed a silent 'wow', as he stood still like a mannequin trying to process everything. Moments ago, he was being bullied by Raul and some daredevils and he thought that was enough misfortune for a day, but right now - the word 'misfortune' has got a new synonym - Charlotte.Tyler tried to utter a word but only his inaudible blabbings echoed. His hands flew to his mouth in outright shock, as he watched the two fornicators disengage from each. The guy - who is a member of the football team quickly zipped his pants, sweat dribbling down his pale face. Charlotte rolled down her skirts. The frown on her face spoke volumes Tyler never expected. If it was some Disney movie, Charlotte should be on her knees, kneading her hands together pleading with Tyler. Obviously, she cheated. She cheated on a man who had been working his butt off to save up and buy her a befitting birthday present."......c..charlotte how could you do this?" Tyler muttered, his voice stuck somewhere between pain and disappointment. His swollen face shrunk into a frown and he took a step forward. "I thought, you lo......""You thought I loved you?... You're tripping.. What the hell are you doing here?" Charlotte interrupted. She slid her feet into her shoes, staring at Tyler in outright disbelief, more like he said the dumbest thing ever. She scoffed when Tyler nodded affirmatively to her impromptu question. A question that sounded rhetorical. "You're such a bozo for thinking I feel shit for you" she yelled. She paused to take her breath. "Why would you barge into me like this....ugh" She said, stomping her feet over the floor.Tyler strained his ears to be sure he didn't have his earphones plugged or a news flash wasn't playing by his ears.Charlotte kissed her teeth, her nostrils flaring like she had a ball of fury in her throat "You're so unbelievable right now, Tyler" Charlotte said. She edged her hands across her chest staring at Tyler with bloodshot eyes.Tyler's lips trembled ceaselessly, streaks of sweat glided down his face. His eyes skimmed between Charlotte and the teammate she had a 'one-afternoon' stand with. his eyes settled on Charlotte. "Charlotte how could you do this to me?" Tyler muttered, and the first year dropped. He sniffed and continued "I was working my ass out to save up and buy you a befitting birthday present, and here you are..... Sleeping around, Charlotte what did I ever do to you?""Aww Poor boy!" Charlotte clamored in an unreal tone of sympathy. A hysteric laughter fled out of her lips. She laughed and staggered towards the teammate. He laughed at her unreal sympathy too. A stoic stare replaced the laughter. "Well you must be so foolish to think I'm in this shitty relationshit with you... You're not my type for Pete's sake, you're jus....""But you said you love me and you know I feel the same way about you" Tyler interrupted amidst tears. He wiped his tears with the back of his palms. "But I guess I was wrong all the while""Of course. You're not even my type Tyler. Besides, this isn't something you should flare up about. Its my pussy and I'm responsible for who fucks it. You should thank your stars that you got the chance to bury that tiny piece of sausage in it" Charlotte said.Moments ago, Tyler's tears cascaded because of the betrayal aching at his heart. But when Charlotte uttered those words, that ache - birthed from betrayal vanished. It got replaced with a prom of fury and disgust. Tyler gritted his teeth, he tightened his fist like he'd punch life out of Charlotte's nostrils."Don't you dare insult me" he groaned.".....oops and what would your dumb ass do if I insult you?" Charlotte dared, stepping into Tyler's space, staring straight into his red eyeballs. "Just take a look at yourself Tyler. You're so ugly broke and fucking useless. You're a broke ass. You couldn't even afford to buy me and iPhone and you stand your silly self here claiming be to my man?" Charlotte scoffed."...but I love you. How dare you treat me like this?" Tyler yelled. Silence invaded the room when he finished speaking and suddenly a laughter tore into the silence. The teammate laughed at Tyler's utterance."You're so dump" the teammate snarled. He pulled out some dollar bills from his pocket and threw them at Tyler's face. "Take this. Go get a life. Leave and never come back, because this beautiful girl right here is mine now. You don't deserve her" the teammate said, pulling Charlotte close to him. He placed a kiss on Charlotte's lips.Tyler fumed with rage, lips trembling and his heart thumping like it'll fall off. He charged at the teammate, landing a punch on his face. "You bastard!" Tyler yelled. The teammate held his face in his hands for a moment. Tyler ambled towards him to land him another blow, but the teammate blocked his arm. He gripped Tyler by the arm, causing him to twirl backwards, while his hands got pinned to the back.Tyler groaned in pain. The teammate let go off his arms. Tyler tried to throw a jab, but the teammate dodged his hand. He grabbed Tyler by his legs and pushed him to the floor. The teammate pounced on Tyler like grain, sitting on his stomach He rained slaps and blows on his already bleeding face, while he gasped for breath."Don't dare raise your filthy hands at me ever again!" The teammate spat. He got off his abdomen. The teammate's line of sight met with a marker on the floor. He picked he scribbled 'SORE LOSER' on Tyler's shirt. He kicked him by the ball, as he threw the marker away."Babe let's get out of here" he said to Charlotte.Tyler curled up on his bed, with thoughts skimming through his mind. The incident with his girlfriend and the teammate replayed in his head again. That thought sent shrills of rage to his heart. He rolled over, peering at the room in a flitting gaze. His rent will soon be due, and the crazy landlord won't hesitate to throw him out of the room if he fails to pay up on time. Every shot at possibility turns back against him. It all ends up in shackles and pains. The only thing that feels theraupatic and fulfilling to do is when he picks up his pen to write a journal. For the last few years, Tyler writes down every emotion he feels. He writes these journals in form of letters to his favorite actor and TV presenter - Will Donalds. Tyler sees Wills as a role model, and they seem to have a few things in common. Will Donalds worked as a janitor in a restaurant before fame shimmered its light on him. Its been a couple of months since the last time Tyler wrote a journal. He sprang up from
Tyler's hands trembled as he stared at his phone. He blinked his eyes rapidly to ensure he wasn't dreaming or staring at a Hollywood blockbuster. He was broke and hopeless a few hours ago, and now - a whooping hundred million is laying in the account. His eyeballs dilated, and a fountain of tears formed in his eyes. The doorbell rang, swinging him out of his thoughts. He put the phone I'm his pocket. He stared at the door for a few seconds, and the doorbell rang again. He sprang up and approached the door. He twisted the knob, and an unfamiliar figure stood in front of him. "How may I help you?" Tyler mumbled, still concealing the shock in his eyes, even if his heart pulsed like it'll fall off his chest. "You must be Tyler. Tyler Johnson" the man standing in front of him said. Tyler hesitated for a minute. He peered at the man and his line of sight met with the 'UPS' inscription on his shirt. It dawned on Tyler that a delivery guy is standing at his doorstep. "Yes, I'm Tyler Johnson
Tyler kissed his tooth loudly as he wandered out of a jewelry store. He'd been walking the streets of LA in search of a presentable gift for Ava. He's not a party freak. His heart constricted at how bad it'll make Ava feel if he gave the wrong gift. Is there anything like a wrong gift? Considerate Tyler. It is been over two hours since he stepped out, and that'll be the third store he'd visited in search of a befitting gift. He walked down the block, beholding the beautiful city. Car engines buzzed at his ears, and the blusters and whispers of other pedestrians ambling down the block too. The skies were beginning to turn gray, necessitating the need for Tyler to get the gift as quickly as he can. She sent the address already. Tyler's gaze settled on a store by the other side of the street. He evaded the sidewalk and crossed to the side of the road. He rubbed his neck lazily, before pushing the door. It was a boutique. The bright lights made him freeze and squint his eyes for a mome
Tyler only wanted to solidify his curiosity and move back to the side of the countered, but Raul and Charlotte had already caught sight of him. "Hi," he muttered to the shocked couple, even if they tried to disguise their surprise with a scornful smile. "Loser" Raul muttered. Tyler ambled closer to them with a smile. Tyler seldom smiles, he's that guy who's always sad an introverted, his smile left Raul's heart blaring with questions. "What is a loser like you doing in this luxury store?" Charlotte said, stepping forward. When Tyler saw Raul, a thought fled into his mind. Charlotte had nothing to do with Raul - the quarterback. After all, he caught her shagging one of the teammates, not Raul. "I came to shop," Tyler said - teeth tightened. Raul and Charlotte exchanged glances and they laughed "Really!" Raul mumbled amidst laughter. "Everyone knows you're a dirty broke ass. This place ain't for people like you. Get the hell out of here" Tyler stood speechless. He stared at Raul
Charlotte's heart missed a beat when the 'ding' sound resounded in her ears. She locked eyes with Tyler and her lips formed an inaudible 'wow' She tried to speak but the shock concealed in her lungs made her beam with a smile. "There you go ma'am" the salesperson's voice jolted Charlotte out of her realm of thoughts. Her line of sight met with the package her supposed quarterback boyfriend could not afford "The purse is yours now" the salesperson added. Charlotte's spine bubbled with adrenaline moments ago, but the salesperson's voice doubled the adrenaline rush. Because she has to make a tough decision. Her supposed well-to-do quarterback boyfriend couldn't afford to buy her a purse. And now - Tyler her ex, the same guy she cheated on, the same guy she called a broke ass bought her an expensive purse. At first, it seemed like a huge punch on Raul's face, but when Charlotte stretched her hands to accept the package from the salesperson, Raul's face shrunk into a scowl. Charlotte ign
The manager's eyes dilated she the hairpin fell. He tried to shrug it off until a golden ring fell off Tyler's pocket too. His eyes widened, almost bulging out like spikes. "What the h....." He exclaimed. He tried to reach for the ring, but Tyler got it before him. He slid the ring into his left index finger. The golden glint of the ring made everyone gaze in shock. Tyler may have bought an expensive purse a few moments ago, but owning a ring worth millions of dollars is the height of all astonishment. "You own that?" The manager said, pointing to the ring in Tyler's fingers. "Yes. I didn't steal it...I" " I didn't say you stole it here" the manager interrupted. "Besides we don't have such kind of luxury ring here" he added. Raul had his heart floating on his tongue. He stared at Tyler in outright shock. If a broke janitor could afford that, then maybe wishes are now horses. There was no way Tyler could afford such a rare gem, within the range of forty-eight hours. "....u...uhm"
Tyler boarded a cab to Ava's. He alighted from the cab after a few minutes. He stood in front of a luxurious penthouse. Tyler stared at the tall building and then he looked down to his tattered shoes. He heaved a sigh. Ava is like an icon, and that depicts the kind of people that'll be attending her birthday party. Ava is a sassy lady, and everyone who's close to her dines on the same table, except Tyler. "I hope I don't get judged because of my outfit" Tyler muttered beneath his breath. His shirt - was slightly drenched with rain, and his brown hair - was disheveled as it sprouted lazily across his forehead. A haircut won't hurt Tyler. He clutched the bag in his head and ascended the stairs, heading to the entrance. He arrived in the long hallway. A few people in sight - each minding their business. The address Ava sent asked that he goes to the second floor of the building. Tyler's eyes skimmed around the hallway and he saw a door, leading to an elevator. His eyebrows creased, a
Tyler paused - lips pouted in awe as he stared at Mandy. Mandy also reciprocated the same gesture. She stared at Tyler with eyes pricked with surprise and a glint of disappointment. "Mandy meet my friend Tyler" The awkward silence lasted for a few minutes. Mandy was the mystery lady in the elevator. "You guys know each other? Ava asked as the unidentified familiarity echoed volumes in silence. "....no" Mandy muttered. "It's good to meet you Tyler" Mandy snarled. She tried to be nice but the smirk in her face gave her away. " I've heard a lot about you. You look horrible by the way" Mandy said. Her face formed into a frown and stormed away. "Mandy!" Ava yelled as Mandy walked away. "Ugh..." She let out a deep breath. " I'm sorry about that. Mandy can be a pain in the ass sometimes" Ava said, placing her hands on Tyler's shoulder. "It's fine," Tyler said. "Happy birthday once again. You look beautiful tonight" Tyler complimented. A smile scurried to Ava's lips and her cheeks red
Kara lips pouted into a silent 'wow' at the sound of Tyler's voice. It felt like he just said the dumbest thing ever. She broke eye contact, hunching her head in awe. She tried to speak, but every attempt ended in inaudible noises. "Are you sure about that?" she said, not sure what his answer will be. Tyler moved closer to her - filling the little space that was between them. He placed his hand on her shoulder - staring into her eyes as chaotic breathes evaded her lips. "Yes Kara. I want you to be there with me. You’re so intelligent, I need people like you around me. I don’t want to make mistakes. i need you around me to solidify that” Tyler said. He placed his hand around her face, engulfing her cheek in his palm. “Please come and join me” A sigh flew of Kara’s lips for the umpteenth time. Her heart missed a beat. She still doesn’t know what reply to give to him. She shrugged for a moment as her heart thumped so fast like it'll fall of her chest. She felt the responsibility Tyle
Tyler squinted his eyes as he let go of the door. He paused at the entrance gazing into space. Ions of thoughts running through his mind. He took a step forward when he heard noises coming from Kara's room. He's been in his late father's house for over a week now. It felt like enough time to mourn the deceased. But no amount of time is enough to grief. They'll always be remembered, and when they are - the heart will have a reason to constrict. Tyler walked past Kara's room. Feet stumping the stairs, he cascaded the stairs striding into the gigantic living room. He resolved his gape on the atmosphere. He approached the sofa. He wanted to indulge in one of his guilty pleasures - googling Keke Palmer's pictures, but he shrugged the thought off his mind. The TV was on and he thought it was the right time to catch up with his favorite TV show - the STAR TV SERIES. The show was about to be concluded though. He reached for the remote. He switched to the channel, and just in - Kara storme
Dear Will, You were awesome on the last episode of the STAR TV SERIES. It was so satisfying to see your character delve out of an abusive home. At first, it was difficult, but at least you have your freedom. Freedom against your abusive father who takes delight in attaching punches to your pale face. You gained freedom away from your junkie mother who pops prescription pills like champagne in a strip club. I enjoyed that part of the series because it portrays your character in a positive and growing light. And yet, you're always grabbing the stake by the edge. I wish I was in the same disposition with your character too. I wish I could swing into freedom, away from the pains that comes from losing a loved one. Yes Will. My father is dead. Don't laugh.I wish it was a joke too, but sadly its not, and I'm still hoping someone will wake me up from this nightmare. I was at the company when I got a call from Kara. She told me he slumped, and he was taken to the hospital. Will, do yo
Its the D-day. The day Johnson will be buried. Tyler hasn't had a decent sleep ever since the day the doctor broke the news of his father's demise to him. It feels like he's hearing voices whenever he closes his eyes and sometimes he wakes up with tears in his eyes. But he'd be layed to rest today. Tyler doesn't know what to expect. Only a few people know Johnson as a famous and wealthy man. That isn't a determinant to how rancorous his funeral will be though. Not like its a beach party or something. Just the funeral of a noble man who pass away - at the wrong time. *** Tyler walked out of the house. He peeked at the surrounding in a single gaze before he walked to the back. His heart tightened in fear of the unknown. Everything felt so unusual and weird and he needed to clear his head for a while before he departs to the funeral venue. He ascended the stairs that led to the rooftop. His father's rooftop. He had a clear view of the blue sky, he squint his eyes a bit as the sun ill
Tyler had his heart stuck in his mouth when he stormed into the hospital. Random reflections skimming through his mind as he walked pass the reception. He caught a peek of Kara seating at the waiting area and he walked close to her. Kara turned when she heard vast and quick footsteps. She sough in relief when she saw Tyler. She swung around to the other side, beaconing him to seat beside her. "Kara what happened?"Tyler said, standing above Kara. The sad look on her face was enough explanation that everything is not fine, but apparently she'd have to let Tyler in, especially to why his father slumped and why she's seated here. "He was reading at the balcony when he slumped. I had to bring him down here" Kara said, without looking into Tyler's eyes. "Slumped? What could be wrong with him?" "The doctors said, its because he had a heart attack" Kara said and her tone damped. Tyler's eyes broadened when Kara mentioned 'Heart attack' Johnson must have been a workaholic all his life,
"Welcome Sir" Maya muttered when her line of sight met with Tyler. Its a cozy Monday morning, a day every employee dreads because of the pressure that's attached to it. Tyler had a frown on his face and it made Maya hesitate for a split second. Baring her face in disappointment. Tyler strolled pass her after replying with a muffled "Morning" Tyler stormed into his office without staring at Maya, the fringes of his red tie swinging back and fourth on his white t-shirt. Sniffs evaded his lips when he slouched into his seat. He caressed his jaw - leaning back on the seat. Just in, he recalled that he was meant to pass an information across to Maya before we walked in, but obviously because he walked in really fast - he said nothing to her. He planned to use the telephone on his desk. But he changed his mind and sprang up on his feet. He approached the door slowly, unlike the quick swiftness and walked at while coming in moments ago. He narrowed his lips, eyes beaming radiantly. Tyler
"Now, we're switching over to the business news. The biggest tech company Johnson Inc has announced a new CEO. He goes by the name Tyler Johnson. He's said to be the only son of the retired CEO. Johnson Morris the previous CEO had to step down because of issues pertinent to his health. This new development has been making waves on the Internet as everyone thinks Tyler Johnson is not fit for that position. Others say he is a newbie in the business world and the company will end up filing for bankruptcy because of his inexperience. Other people at on the positive side and they chose to respect Johnson's decision. They trust his choice because Tyler might have exhibited potential that made him worthy of assuming that lofty position. Nevertheless, everyone has got their fingers crossed, waiting to see if Tyler would successfully run the multi-million dollar company or if it'll soon be buried under the ash heaps of bankruptcy. That will be all from our end here at STAR TV NEWS. I'm y
It was Mandy. Ava's cousin. She crinkled her eyebrows when she locked eyes with Tyler. A smile appeared on her face and it suddenly shrunk into a grimace as Tyler approached her. At first, she was stunned at Tyler's drastic change. His hair is alluringly well carved, and his skin glows like the glass. "What are you doing here?" She said, before Tyler could utter a word. Her words caught him off guard and he froze a bit searching for the best statement to utter. Maybe it was time he put Ava in her place. In a place he's always placed people who rained on his parade and people who looked down on him when he had nothing. "I should be asking you that question?" Tyler ultimately summoned the courage to speak after a few seconds. He dipped his hands into his pocket, retaining eye contact. Staring at her, while she sat gave Tyler a slight bit of a sense of dominance. Still dazed, but Mandy conceived her bewilderment with a smirk. She crossed her legs on the sofa, her dark hair, elegantly
"You're welcome sir" a man whimpered, accompanying Tyler into the first floor of his father's company. Tyler's lips formed a silent wow as they both stepped out of the elevator. He had never been to a corporate place before and this was the first Tim, it felt like he just stepped into heaven. "This is the marketing department, sir," The man said to Tyler again. A smile curled on his lips. His demeanor seethed with joy and a drizzle of fear as if he was starstruck. Like he just saw his celebrity crush. "It is nice" Tyler muttered. His tensed voice was stuck somewhere between nervousness and surprise. He tried to disguise that by wearing a smile on his face and plunging his hands into his pocket. "What's your name?" Tyler asked. They bubbled with laughter again. Who wouldn't be happy if their new CEO is humble enough to ask their name? "Oh... My name is Allen" the man said. "Great" Allen and Tyler walked through a door. Several people passed them, each shooting surprised stares a
