Chapter 8 - Double meeting, same occurrence I.

The Carrick's family were all silent through the whole Flight to Chicago.

Jim was actually mad when he heard about the sudden relocation to Chicago. Their father isn't helping matters and he only wants his family to be where ever he is.

The necessary things were done as the two informed their friends of the latest development.

"You guys should cheer up, were landing soon and your father is waiting to welcome us, trust me, it's gonna be fun Here in Chicago." Mrs kate Carrick, their mom said.

minutes later, the jet Landed and the all alight to meet their father as their mom had really said.

Their father didn't say anything until they got into the car.

"I'm really sorry for Any type of discomfort this might have brought to you kids, but trust me, it's for the safety of my family and your benefit too." Mr, Carrick. their father said.

"Like we've not heard that multiple times." Jane muttered silently but her mom heard it and sent her a glare indicating 'He's your father'.

Jim stayed silent and he's not happy with the development either.

The Bodyguards in the First three cars at the upfront moved first, then their car followed suit as the other three cars behind follows.

Minutes later, they arrived at the big mansion and Both kids were amazed at how big the new mansion is, it's much more bigger than their mansion at Florida.

They alighted from the car and were much amazed at the amount of the heavily builded bodyguards armed with heavy artillery standing in every post-corner of the house.

The amount of securities there is much more tight than the one at Florida.

"Dad, did you order all this amount of security and heavy bodyguards?" Jim asked, obviously surprised.

"No, son, it's the government as I now hold a very high post in the Whole of USA, that's the cause of the increments in the sphere of the bodyguards and securities in the mansion." Mr. Carrick explained.

They moved in and The kids were really astonished at the Interior decorations of the Living room, the artwork in there speaks Wealth.

it was really Richly furnished.

Jane was really amazed at the artworks and that's when she started falling in love with the house.

Her favorite painter's artwork of recent that's really trending as top #1 in the whole of USA is in the house as part of the decorations and she know at once that this was the had work of her dad.

She went to where her room is and she couldn't help but burst out of excitement, the decorations were really beautiful and mostly it comprises of her favorite colors. PINK and WHITE.

After the family had settled down, they gathered in the dinning for lunch.

The maids and house workers were neatly dressed and each of them doing their duties respectively.

The bodyguards in the house are not smiling at all and they look really fearful.

It was at the dinning that their father breaks it down to them that they're resuming their new school the following day, so as anything won't affect their academics.

"Umm.. Dad, won't you show us around the City this evening, we don't have any idea of anywhere here." Jim said and Jane's reaction speaks concussion.

"Umm, Kids, I can't do that as I'll be heading out in the next minute. you all know I'm a busy man and I won't have time for that." Mr. Carrick said and the kids went silent, they'd expected it tho, this had happened countless time. Their mother is not helping matters as well as she's not the type for going out, only concerned about her business.

The Dinning went silent and the sound of the cutleries can only be heard and their father knows something is off too, the kids aren't happy.

"You kno you kids can't go out there all alone, you're very new here, Lola will show you around after you're done with lunch." Their Father said and their face brightens up.

"Lola is here?"

"Lola is here?" They ask in unison and their mother nodded.

"Hi, welcome lads." Lola said, coming out, smiling.

Both rushed to Hug her.

"Heyy, stop, you guys are eating." Lola said smiling.

Lola, a Middle aged woman, had been their house help and had taken care of them since they were toddlers, their parents are not always home and she had been there for them.

Part of the reason why they were sad when Lola wasn't anywhere to be found when they were packing, without knowing she had been here at Chicago before them.

It's now clear to Jane why the artwork was in the living room, she brought up the idea to her dad.

After resting a bit after their lunch, Lola took them out. Their parents have gone out as usual.

Some bodyguards accompany them to their outing.

Lola only took them to some of the Big shopping malls in Chicago. Mr Carrick had released his black card for her before he went out.

They first visited 'BLOCK 37'. Jane was really amazed at the beauty of the shopping mall, this is more Graded than the one in Florida, the designs, settings and all displays it.

"You guys should do some shoppings, buy anything you want." Lola advised.

"Buy anything?" Jim asked, widening his eyes.

"Yes, Jim." Lola smiled, showing them the black card their father Gave to her.

"Woowwwwww..." Jim smiled, rushing to the things he wanted to get from their shopping.

Lola smiled, Jim is really small, just a boy of 11 years.

"Hello, Joe, can we go out? we need to get some things at mall." Jude put a call across to Joe, his father most-trusted bodyguard.

"Yes, just be careful and Use your face Cover well." Joe said.

"Okay, aye aye captain." Jude said and smiled.

They stepped out of the house, heading to the Car, two bodyguards came to them and Jude wonder why they came.

"What happened?" Jude said, with a serious voice.

"We're sorry, Young Chairman, it's an order to accompany you out." One of the body guards said.

"From Joe right?" Jude asked and his phone rings immediately.

it was Joe calling.

"Hello, J." Jude said.

"I ordered it, please let them be." Joe said.

"Okay." Jude said and hung up.

"This way, sir Jade." the second body guard said and pointed to the high bumper jeep at the left corner in the Compound.

"Can you just call me Jade, that 'sirs' and 'young chairman' sounds weird." Jude said.

"I'm Dan as well." Dan added smiling.

"We're sorry." Both said and bow a little.

Jude was not okay with the respect and all, the two before him are old enough to be his big elder brother.

"Why not use my Car?" Jude asked. Dan kept quiet all this while.

" The High bumper jeep is a bullet proof Car sir, we're to make sure of your protection and nothing must happen to you." One of them said.

"Wow." Dan muttered.

"Okay." Jude said and they moved towards the Car.

"Your destination?" The other asked.

"WATER TOWER PLACE shopping mall." Jude said and the bodyguard behind the wheel nods before bringing the engine to Live.

In less than few minutes, they're at the Mall. Jude and Dan made sure to use the face cover and the face Caps well before stepping out of the Car, the two bodyguards standing behind them as they walk inside the Shopping mall.
