“Why are you different?” Maximus asked rhetorically. While he raked his fingers through his smooth silver hair, which got dyed in blood.
Joon looked up to see the emperor looming over him like a mountain. What does the emperor’s question mean? Why did he think he was different? Was it because of the smile that escaped her? He only laughed because the face of a decapitated woman in pleasure was the funniest thing he had ever seen.
Maximus carried Joon off the floor and placed him beside the crystal ball. As soon as Joon got beside the crystal. A bright blue light shot out of the crystal, and flew towards Liliana’s body, swallowing it before it returned. “Wow.” Joon was shell-shocked by the magical phenomenon that had just occurred. Even though he knew this was a magical world, it was his first time seeing magic.
[Conditions are met]
[Scanning for magical capacity]
Looking up, Joon could see a red-colored game status window projecting out of the crystal. “What the hell is going on”. he could not believe his eyes, in every novel he read, the main character is the only one who has a system. which was common sense for any isekai, but he just saw another system come out of the crystal ball.
If the system is common in this world, then am not the main character, then am just like everybody else. Joon thought. Joon was disappointed that his plan to dominate the world with his cheat system got thrown out the window.
“Hey, don’t compare me to those knock-offs.”
The arrogant feminine voice shocked Joon. He looked left and right to see where the voice was, but he couldn’t see anything but the emperor, who was immersed in the projection. “Who said that?” he asked in his mind because he wasn’t able to talk yet as a baby.
“Hey, up here stupid.” the voice replied in a haughty tone. Joon looked towards the ceiling and saw a fairy-looking person flying above his head. She had naturally brown hair and eyes that were as green as the forest. And her beauty, if he was to describe it, she was like a goddess. “Wow!”
“Are you a fairy?” Joon asked.
“Wrong! Listen well, my servant. I am Ella, the one and only system fairy. It’s your honor to be my host. Bow and worship me, human.”
Joon’s impression of fairies started crumbling into dust. From stories he read, fairies are lovely magical beings that spread love and happiness occasionally. But this fairy had none of that. If she gave him a bag of pixie dust, he was sure it would be poison because of her poor attitude. I guess that’s why they say never meet your heroes.
“What did you mean by knockoffs?” Joon asked.
Ella spun around in the air, held her waist with her right hand, and pointed at Joon with her left hand. “Knockoffs are knockoffs. What is there to explain?” she said.
“Well, I see no difference. maybe except the colors.” Joon said, trying to goad the arrogant fairy.
Ella frowned. “Humph. Well, you are blind then. As you can see, I possess an ego, and those… ugh. Just the thought of I Ella, being compared to a system without ego, is unbefitting to my name.” She stared at Joon with a maddened gaze. How could a human compare her to a system that possessed no ego?
He shrugged aside her words. “Ok… but I don’t see the difference.”
Ella snapped her finger and a status screen popped out. She points at the screen with the tiny stick she conjured out of thin air. “I am going to explain this once. So, pay attention. other systems… can only check the status after they meet a condition”. She said while pointing the stick at the crystal. “The palace system is a little special. It shows your status window, and it can also detect female children with huge mana levels. After it detects the child, it siphons the mana from their bodies and stores it. Until they brought a male child to the altar.
Joon tilted his head. “Soo, what do you do then?” he asked.
In an arrogant tone, she replied. “I know everything in this world. So, there is no question I can’t answer, and… I have a store where you can get any item of your imagination. But you have to pay a price. Also, I have a skill store where you can purchase any skill you want.”
Something doesn’t sound right here, although this system has a lot of cool stuff. Why didn’t it talk about the initial skills, I got when I got isekied. Joon thought. Did the system fairy skip those skills because the skills are locked, or is something else going on?
“Hey, Ella. Do you know the skill ‘lycanthrope’ or ‘Den?’? He asked with hesitance.
She frowned. “Don’t go making up words that do not exist. Ly–con-rope, what’s that? And what’s the den? She asked with anger in her voice. Even with all her knowledge, she had never heard of such words before. That could only mean one thing, they don’t exist, and the child made them up
Joon sensed that something did not add up. The status window he saw initially could not talk, even though he didn’t open it for a while because of his disappointment with the requirement to unlock the skill. There was no way it evolved in a short time.
“em… Ella, when did you get into my head?” he asked with a hint of suspicion in his voice.
“Oh. I heard the king of this empire had a myth-class mana level. So, I hid in that crystal and waited for the opportunity to make one of his descendants my servant to prevent the oncoming disaster. I had been waiting for ten years, but every child they set on this altar had a low mana level. Until today I detected an S-class mana level, so I jumped into your body. But who knew my host would be a girl who cannot even use mana? What bad luck. She said with disappointment while placing her palm on her face.
The only thing Joon got from her explanation was that she intended to use him as a pawn if he was a boy and something about a disaster.
So, what happened to the system I got before? Did it get removed because of her? Joon thought while staring at the status window, “hmmm… what’s that?” squirting his eyes to see two tiny dots at the bottom of the status screen. Two dots at the bottom of a screen could only mean one thing. He raised his baby arm and swiped to the left. The window changed.
It was the status board that had the missing skills. There was one more surprise after changing the status board before Ella disappeared. This meant that he could finally mute that rude brat.

“What!”. Maximus could not believe what he was seeing on the status board. The child in front of him possesses an S-class mana level. This should have been a reason for him to celebrate the birth, but the child is a girl, which meant her mana would be absorbed by the crystal and transferred to his male heir. But that wasn’t promising because all the women that he slept with gave birth to girls. There are five known aura users in the world, and each of them possesses unique abilities, but no one knows what ability they possess. Maximus possessed the ability to steal a person’s mana. But this ability has a requirement. To steal a person’s mana, he would have to consume a part of the person’s body.Maximus looked down to see a defenseless child with the power he was searching for. But even though he’s a cold and heartless man, there were lines even he wouldn’t cross.Guess ill have to wait until you are all grown up. He thought with an evil smirk as he rubbed Joon’s face with his fingers
I can’t believe I am stuck with this human. Ella thought in the privacy of her mind.Ella could not believe that she bounded with a woman who could not even use mana. To save the world, she needed a child host that had S-class and above mana level. But who would have thought that the person who met the criteria was a human girl?“So, does the system work?” Helena asked with her mind.“The rules are simple. All you have to do is, open the system store and pay for the skills or techniques you want to learn.” Ella replied in a nonchalant tone while filing her nails. She could not bother explaining seriously to a female child who was useless to her. The only reason she hasn’t left is that she could not leave the child’s body unless she dies.“But there is no use in learning them because all the skills and techniques in this world require mana control, and guess what?” Ella asked in a mocking tone.“What?” Helena replied.“You have so much mana, but you can’t use any. hahaha. Location: Thorka EmpireRoyal Palace“We have arrived.” The knight said respectfully while standing outside the carriage. The carriage door opened, and a hand stretched out from it. It is a custom for a man to help a lady out of the carriage, so the knight held her hand, assisting her off the carriage. As soon as she came out, the knight was stunned by her beauty. He could not help but stare.“Thank you, sir knight,” she said with a smile. The lady’s words shocked him out of his thought. “No-no, it is an honor to serve you. my lady,” he said as he kissed the back of her hand, which was covered in white, smooth gloves. Elric heard rumors that princess Coplay, Aria Coplay., was the most beautiful creature in the world. Every man that laid eyes on her fell in love. But rumors are rumors, they are usually exaggerated. But what he saw in front of him was no exaggeration. She had long wavy ocean-blue hair and beautiful blue eyes, but what made her more breathtaking was her face, which look
As soon as princess Aria entered the Throne room, she could see the difference between a small kingdom in the north and an Empire. The throne was so humongous she could imagine fitting Coplay’s throne room five times in it. Not only was it huge, but beautiful too.If they gave Coplay the money used to decorate this throne room, we wouldn’t have been a third-class kingdom that could be destroyed easily. Aria thought in her mind as she was stunned by how beautiful the room was.She saw four giant pillars placed vertically on both sides of the hall, and in between these pillars were huge Thorka empire flags hung on the walls. giving off an aura of power. As aria got closer to the throne, she could feel sharp gazes from the nobles as she walks between them toward the emperor. As a princess who had experience in the world of nobility, she could tell what each gaze meant. Some were full of lust toward her beauty, while others were full of curiosity and disgust. She ignored them as she conti
“What happened?” Archduke asked the knights, who fell onto the ground. One of the knights responds, “Your grace you said she was dead, but she just moved.”Archduke Lelouch frowned as he stared at the knight. “Are you saying I lied?” He asked. The Lelouch family controls all doctors, nurses, and medical pharmacies in the Empire. From a young age, they teach the successor’s medical knowledge. But Alad Lelouch was a genius at both medicine and sword. He became a certified doctor at eighteen and a first-class Aura user at twenty. So, saying that he misdiagnose a dead person would be a dishonor to the Lelouch line. The Knight stood up from the ground and bowed his head. “My Apologies, your grace.” He apologized. They tried carrying her again, but as soon as they touched her. Her eyes opened. The knights backed away quickly due to the shock. Her eyes were a different color. They changed from a beautiful blue to a burning red.A burst of loud laughter echoed. “Ha hahaha. She couldn’t even k
A deafening whistling sound echoed, as Lelouch and Aria sliced through the air at an incredible speed, before clashing.*Clang! *“What!” Lelouch can not believe his eyes. A human hand blocked his sword covered in aura. As a third-class aura user. He could cut through a Mythril armor with ease. But to his surprise, a human body could defend against his strike. This is impossible. He thought in his mind while he gazed at Aria’s hands. While staring, he noticed something. There was a layer of blood protecting her hands. It was a similar technique to aura coating. A technique aura users use to strengthen their weapons. “So… that’s what’s going on,” he said with his gaze locked on Aria.Lelouch frowned, and placed his left foot in front, planting it firmly onto the ground as he held his sword above his head with his right hand and sliced down the middle with full force.“Your attacks can’t hurt me,” Aria said with confidence as she concentrated her blood on her right-hand palm to block th
“Hmph… Disgusting pervert. I have never seen a woman have such thoughts toward other women.” Ella spoke while staring at Helena with disgust.Ella’s words shocked Helena. “What! Did you just say you could read my thoughts?” Once’s thought is like a safe, it’s where you hide the things important to you. For some, they hide their money, some hide jewelry, and some people hide their intense love for big boobs. So, someone having access to your safe without your permission is dangerous.“Of course, I can read them when they leak out every time through mind communication. Even though you can talk now, you still use the system’s mind communication function to talk to me when you could just talk normally.” Ella complained. While fondling Nora’s boobs, Helena replied, “How can I talk to you normally when no one else can see you? If anyone saw me talking to the air, I might get burnt on the stake for being a witch. Do you want to see me burn?” Helena asked.Ella cocked her head to the right. “
“Your highness, what dress would you be wearing?” Nora asked as she opened the wardrobe. The wardrobe had different types of dresses in a variety of colors. They were dresses made by Jolene Avilon, the best designer in the Empire. each of her works is sought after by all the noble ladies in the capital. Any noble lady that wears an Avilon product is respected in high society. But not anyone can wear them because a dress in avilon cost one million Veru (Gold). Which is higher than the amount of money some nobles earn from their territory in a year. Only someone from the royal, Dukes', and marquess families could afford them. Nora could not help but stare at the dresses. Helena looks at the dresses while she was in the bathtub. “Hmmm… pick the white plain one.” She said. Helena’s words snapped Nora out of her greedy thoughts. “Ah… yes, the white one. Hmmm…, your Highness, this dress does not have any jewelry on it. Are you sure you want to wear this?” Nora asked with a concerned tone

Lord Phames actually kissed her on the hand!"Lady Fiora of House Merewind exclaimed in astonishment, while surrounded by a group of other noble ladies."How could that commoner's daughter simply stand there while he did that? She ought to be on her knees, showing gratitude for such an opportunity." Lady Justina of House Quickfire remarked, her tone dripping with disdain and disgust."It appears this commoner's daughter, needs to be taught her place." Lady Annelore of House Merewind added, glaring at Cyra with a malicious expression."I heard from my mother that when a nobleman gets close to a commoner woman, he becomes bewitched. They supposedly sprinkle love potions on their clothing, so that when the nobleman inhales it, he falls in love with them."Lady Thessaly of House Starfrost said."I heard the same from my elder sister. As she turned to Emperor Maximus, her face twisted in shock and agony.“Did you truly believe I could be defeated with such a meager display of power? That was nothing more than a mere shadow double.”Emperor Maximus said with a condescending tone and expression.“Even with an energy more powerful than mana and Aura, this is all your strength amounts to. What a waste… Don’t worry; I will be using your power to its full potential, after extracting it from your corpse… Any last words before you die?”Emperor Maximus asked.“Cough…Ha…haha… Did you think you’ve won!? OUTSIDE, THE IMPERIAL PALACE’S GATES.As the post-celebration of the prince’s naming persisted within the grand halls of the imperial palace, a scene unfolded outside its monumental gates. Assembled was a segment of the imperial army, specifically the Silver Dragon Knight squad. Comprising of five hundred knights, each meticulously chosen by the emperor himself, the squad boasted a spectrum of prowess ranging from a fourth-class Grandmaster as the least powerful, to an eighth-class Grandmaster as the most formidable. The knights stood in disciplined formation outside the palace gate, organized into five distinct lines, with each group encompassing a hundred knights.*CREAK*A loud creaking sound of metal filled the air as the palace gates opens, revealing Emperor Maximus. He walks out with the air of a conqueror exuding from his body. With each stride he took, the surrounding air became heavy, affected by his Aura.
