CHAPTER THIRTY ONE

The beast Alex grinned, while looking at me with his red eyes. He gave out a roar and quickly covered the distance between us. All this happened in a blink of an eye. His speed was so quick that a normal person would be dead in the beast’s hands ,ahem..claws.

The beast punched at me with the same speed. My reflex is usually quicker than normal people. But unfortunately for me, the beast Alex’s speed was beyond my reasoning. So I got punched, then I flew across the room and crashed into the big mirror in the room. Obviously, it hurt me because the glass pierced my skin, and blood came out of the wound.

The crashing sound was too loud, but the thunder and heavy rain outside were enough to muffle the noise of the fight, including the crashing and breaking. So this sound wasn’t enough to wake mom up.
