CHAPTER 8: HIDDEN (1)
Next day after the attack on the west front.
Our mornings are the same as always first bath, cafeteria, daily examinations and lastly sleep.
That's our normal routine for the day.
I know you might call it just laziness around, but.
Blu then opens a door, as what could be seen were neatly cleaned, white floating chairs arranged in an orderly manner with a large table in their middle.
Here we are, the only place we test subjects can have a free time without being watched. I call it {The cafeteria}.
Well, it's been months since we were allowed here, at first I thought we would be served weird foods, but the foods here was unexpectedly good.
And to top it all the foods here comes with a smart pick. That is we are allowed to pick any food of our choice with just a press of a button in the smart tab or what you might call a Holographic screen.
"Ahhhh..".
*Yawn*
'Seems like I didn't have enough sleep'.
"Morning Blu".
Blu then glanced as he noticed Leo seated on the chair.
"Morning Leo".
He then walks up to Leo and sat opposite him.
"What's with the yawning,
Did you have a sleepless night",
"No, I was just up doing something",
"What things?"
"It's a secret",
"Secret?"
"Yeah",
— It's not like I want to keep it a secret from them, but when the time comes I would tell them.
"Ok",
"So, what do you think?"
"What I think?"
"Don't play dumb Blu the whole thing about what you want to do when you become an adult".
"You see when I Ieave this place, I want to be a hero",
"Adult? Ah... That",
— one of the biggest reasons that made me, not want to tell them about my escape is about this,
They all have dreams, and I don't want to be the one crushing them.
"Morning Aria".
Blu then glances, sighting Aria at the door, strolling to the table.
"...".
She then sat close to Blu.
"Silent as ever".
"Hey".
Signaling her warm welcome, Blu then noticed her face turning crimson red.
— Ehhh... Why is she blushing?
He then recalls what happened before.
"Huh... Did something happened between you and Aria".
Leo says as he noticed the tension between both Blu and Aria.
"Ehh..".
"Is it me or is the atmosphere between you guys different".
"What do you mean?".
"You see before she would be using you as a hiding tree, but now it seems like you guys did something".
He said while staring at both of them.
'Ahh... That, I don't want to talk about it... Please anyone'.
Immediately, the rest of the test subjects came barging into the cafeteria.
"Morning Blu",
"Hos,
How's everyone".
"Yo".
"Ah—Morning Blu".
"Morning".
"Morning Alice, Lisa, Drok, Noire, Mary, Eli".
Both Leo and Blu then responded simultaneously. As they all sat.
Aria then leaves the area in rush.
"Ah—Ar...".
Observing as Aria leaves Blu pondered.
'I wanted to give her the key she gave me back'.
Wait a minute! key!
If I remember correctly, the room to the top floor of our rooms were locked, maybe I could use the key to open it.
Interrupting Blu who was lost in thought. Leo said.
"Hey Blu, I hate to bite into your lovers quarrel, but...".
"As I said we aren't lovers",
"Okay, we get you".
He said with a grin on his face.
— Ughh I don't think he understands the situation between us.
Blu contemplated noticing his grinning expression.
"Go solve the problem first".
"Ahhha... You guys don't get it".
Alice then interrupted their conversation.
"Hey Blu are you going to order or not".
"ohh.. OK".
'Looks like I would look into the second floor later at night.
{Night}
As men in white finished their rounds in checking.
*Thud*
Strolling down the hallway, I, who was awake.
I'm currently sneaked off to check if there was any one outside, as I could not cite anyone.
'Seems like a scene out of an action movie'.
*Thud, Thud*
Moving quietly on the tip of my toes, I made my way through the stairs, ascending the top floor.
*Slide*
Opening the doors, there were just normal rooms, like the ones down stairs. As I searched the rooms, there wasn't much, just normal rooms.
*Thud*
As I arrived, the last room on the top floor, there I could identify, the room was different from the others as it was scattered, the walls were all ripped as the writing 'Help' was written.
*Thud*
Moved on, as I observed the room silently, I detected a diary, picking it up a letter fell from it.
Reading the letter, I found it was from a former test subject that found out about the secrets of this facility,
'To anyone reading this, hi, I am number 90, one of the test subjects of this facility. Anyone that finds this letter, it would seem that I either I failed or I died,
Haha sorry for the depressing lines, well finding this letter means you have finally found out about the facility to, well considered yourself lucky because the true hell is about to start,
I don't want to spoil all the fun, but once you find out about the hidden room, you would understand, and escape from this place before phase 5 starts, or else you would die.
Phase 4, is a training sequence, where you would be all training to unlock your psyche abilities, that when you have to run, no matter what run
My diary contains worthwhile tips on escape, well, Goodluck'.
After I read the letter, I was short of words as I couldn't utter a statement. I was completely speechless.
What did he mean by 'true hell is about to start'?
Psyche? Training? Hidden room? Phase 4?
Questions kept coming the more I read his letter. Of course I knew the answers to some of the mystery to this facility, but before I knew I had more questions than answers to everything going on.
I then checked the diary for clues on escaping the facility.
All I could say was, I have to escape
*Thud, Thud*
After a while, I noticed foot steps heading towards the room door,
'Who is that at this hour?'
I then headed out to see who it was. On cite I noticed it was Aria.
'What is she doing here again?'
I wondered as this was the second time she would sneak up on me without me noticing.
'By the way how was I unable to notice her presence is it the psyche number 90 mentioned'.

CHAPTER 9: HIDDEN (2) Aria then smiled beaming with a cute radiance while saying. "Uhmm, I was looking for you". "Cute" I thought as her cute expression diverted my thoughts over how she hid her presence to. 'What am I thinking? How could I doubt such a cute girl? Anyways I have to protect the cuteness'. Blu then said. "Okay. Let's head back first". "Uhmm". *Thud* As we headed back to our rooms, the thought of what number 90 said about the hidden room kept pondering my mind, 'But where is the hidden room? I have checked out every building... wait building?' Instantly I recalled the last building I hadn't checked out yet. 'If I remember correctly, there is still one more building that I hadn't checked out'. *Thud* I then glanced outside the windows and noticed there wasn't any [men in white] guarding the bu
CHAPTER 10: TRAINING (1) *Chatter* The cafeteria was filled with sounds of the test subjects chattering as they who sat down on floating chairs eating. "Hey, Blu, pass me the tab". Noire said as he glances at the sight of Blu who was lost in thought. *Jolt* Instantly he responded. "Ok". As passes over a small holographic tab. "Leo you want some". Blu said as he glances at Leo who was also lost in thought. "Nah am full". He responded, knowing fully well he hadn't touched him food for over the past few minutes. "That rare you always ask for more, but now it like your not feeling too well". Noire said as he noticed Leo wasn't looking too good. "Hmm... Am fine". Noire then stared at Leo for a few seconds before saying. "OK, That means more for me". Its been a day after we snuck into the hidden room as I can see it seems what we saw that day is s
CHAPTER 11: TRAINING (2) From that day our daily routines changed from normal lazing around to days of running round the facility, push-ups, and other activities. After some months there was no particular changes in our bodies, just some minor improvements on our vitality, endurance, overall strength and so on. Maybe the results of the training are long-term effects on our body. Also we're not humans in the first place, knowing some reincarnated characters that ain't humans their strength mostly doesn't show up till they are in pinch. At first that was what I thought since I didn't see any reason why we needed to train, knowing we were created differently, but on a certain day I understood fully well what we were all training for. 3 months later, which is actually 11 years after reincarnating. {In Blu's room} On sight of the morning light which shone brightly in Blu's room, passing th
CHAPTER 12: TRAINING (3) It was morning, the sun rose, shining its rays upon the glorious sight of the everlasting snow landscape. *Twitch* Standing in the snow, Blu instantly felt a pain great enough to that it affected his heart till it nearly stopped. *Thump* Instantly he dropped to a kneeling position with both hands pressed on the white snow. *Bleugh* Eventually, he coughed up a mouthful of blood. While he watched over, his blood painted the snow. Slowly, everything started to get blurry. *Pant* As he breathed heavily, from the rising amount of cold air entering his lungs. Blu then instinctively raised his head forth, as everything started to appear in slow motion. *Clang* The sound of two metal striking filled the space as Blu could sight Aria wielding a dual short blade, attacking Dust, who also wielded an amethyst glove with a horizontal
CHAPTER 13: TRAINING (4) Of course Blu knew things weren't going to work, but to ease out their worries, he then responded to Drok's words saying. "Don't worry about that, all we need is him to stay still for a few seconds in the midst of the smoke screen. The smoke screen is just a decoy". "Knowing him, he wouldn't care less about us after rendering us useless after beating us down. That's when we would attack using the Mythril guns". Blu then paused for a while pondering. 'Normally, I would have hesitated when attacking a human with the intent of rendering him injured, but now I don't feel anything fighting someone death. Maybe it's because I am no longer human, I had killed someone before'. "Anyways, the only thing I can see holding off a monster like that is another fellow monster like him". "But now we don't have such a person". "That's why we have Aria. She's the only person to
CHAPTER 14: TEST RUN (1) As I remembered a time from my past, it wasn't vague, but I remember it clearly. *** *Chatter* Raising my head from the gaze of the abyss, there I noticed over a group of people talking. "Hey, hey wanna go see the new café". "You mean the one over at the train station?" "Yeah, yeah I heard they started a new menu". "Let's go after club". 'Argh... I hate normies grouping up and getting all giggly up with their favorite stuffs'. I thought as I gazed upon the sight of them talking. *Ding-dong* "It clubs now, let's go". "OK, am coming". At high school, I always didn't standout —I was a MOB character. I had the feeling of alienation every time I was at school. Though I hate groups and crowds, it appeared like I was put up against an invisible wall between me and them. After a while,
CHAPTER 15: TEST RUN (2) On hearing the strange voice. Blu was instantly transported into a white scenery with mist covering most of the ground floor. Blu felt like he was interred. "..." He then hears a silent noise, as he looks back to see who it was, he noticed a white shadowy figure glittering beyond the horizon. *Bam* Afterwards, he noticed the figure getting closer. Blu attempted to move on seeing the figure, but he could. *Bam* As he attempted again, he could notice the white figure getting closer. After a short while of struggling, he was then able to move and turn his face. *Bam* On sighting away from the white figure, it dawned to Blu the white figure was already in front of him. The mysterious figure was pale white, with only its parts partially visible *Ba-thump* Blu was greatly frightened as his eyes dilated on the sight of the myster
CHAPTER 16: PSYCHE (1) {Headquarters of Area 02} A round meeting was held to report the progress of the test run, with all members present. "Now let the meeting start". The Commander said as he glanced at the secretary before him, signaling the start of the test run. *Blimp* The secretary then touched the round table, slightly as it lit on, with circular azure blue arch light levitating around her hands. *Fwoosh* The table glowed a cyan blue light that instantly lit up the reflecting of the faces of everyone. "Firstly, I would like to talk about the test run of phase 4". *Shine* On saying this, the top of the table displayed the preview of the test run on a 3D projection screen. *Slide* Meanwhile, she had released her hands from the table. While she then took out a blue tab pressed against her body. Later, she continued. <
