Gale got ready for the trip and task at hand. He and Clint were going to Austria. Gale wondered why ever a company that far away would decide to go into a fight with Milton Conglomerate. He could only wonder, but knew that he would find the answers to his questions when they got there. He had also cleared up all protocols for their flight down there. It would be easy to enter the country as delegates from Milton Conglomerate since they were cleared by the authorities to fly privately for business.Now, he was waiting for Clint at a bus stop. Gale and Clint got ready for their work in the country the next morning. Gale had to wear a disguise, a different colour wig, different eye colour contacts, with glasses and a moustache. He even trimmed off his beard. Clint was going as his usual self because no one would associate him with the Milton Conglomerate. Originally, Clint was supposed to go alone for this but it might seem weird if he’s moving around a new country without bodyguards, when the company he was faking as the CEO was a bit successful.And so they got ready that morning and headed to the location where their rival company was located after booking an appointment via email. "It's nameless." "Why? Don't you want people to know your business? Don’t you advertise or something? How do you get clients?" Clint asked with a perplexed look."We are devoted to our client’s privacy, that's why there is no logo. The hotel is called NAMELESS. And we don’t need to advertise. Rafael set to work the very minute after he confirmed the e-mail from Gale. He was known to be efficient and punctual in his job in the technology department. And now that he got a call directly from a member of the board to work on something, he would be as fast as he could get so as to make an impression on the higher powers of the Milton Conglomerate. It was an easy task to do, nothing he hadn’t done before. Long before Rafael even thought of working for someone, he was a tech guy with the school of thought that he would not work under any firm. Then, he did his own work and made his own money. But his own work was not noble work. He hacked into systems for a living. He did this at the prime of his career and was living the life, the peak life. Until one day when he hacked into a system with strong enough security to know who hacked into the system. Clint was more than shocked. He turned around to see where the gun shot had come from. He saw that it was the receptionist at the hotel, who now stood naked in front of the hotel, and from the looks of it, Clint could tell that he had a smirk plastered to his face. Why would the receptionist shoot Gale? He did not even know who they were! Clint's mind raced with thoughts in those few seconds that he turned to look at the receptionist who shot Gale, before turning around to his friend again, who was now crying in pain. “Stay away from here and stop asking too many questions.” The receptionist yelled and went back inside."Gale? Gale are you okay?" Clint asked. "No, no. No, I'm not. I was just shot on the arm. We have to call Cade, we have to let him know of this.""We will do that when you are in a hospital." Days later, Cade received the funniest news he had heard in a while. The Bellwethers had been granted bail from the prison cell. It made him laugh because he knew that they had no one to get them out of the cell. But they had come out. Cade suspected that it was Barnes' doing. He figured out that they might have called him to come to their rescue and he had answered them now that he was apparently no longer in hiding. He knew the Bellwethers so much, so he knew that if they were out of the prison, then they would be up with a plan to escape from the country, so he did what he knew how to do. He went over to the apartment they had rented to wait for them. Finding them had been easy for his security team and he was right. They had indeed been planning to run away, because he met the mother and daughter mid step in the compound with their luggages. Gale was beginning to recover. His recovery took days and he hated it. He wanted to be up and about, helping to catch the criminals that dare come against the Milton Conglomerate. He heard from Clint what Cade said about finding the owner of the Nobles Groups of Companies. He wondered how Cade found the man that easily and even arrested him. Gale had figured out from the man's rambling that day that he was the owner of the Nobles' Companies and he had planned to inform Cade of the development by himself and help him, but here he was, stuck in the hospital. Cade could no longer come to visit Gale while he was in the hospital because he got very busy with all the matters at hand but Gale didn’t hold a grudge against Cade. He knew how busy his boss was. Besides, Cade called everyday and insisted on speaking to Gale through video call to see with his own eyes that Gale was alive and recovering. Cade put Derek in the same cell as his family members. Putting them in the same place was strategic. He wanted them to bicker, blame themselves and maybe even try to kill each other. While arguing, they were more likely to spill more secrets about their actions and that would serve as more evidence against them. If they tried to actually kill each other, they would be charged for violence by the officers. But first, he was going to take Barnes to the board room for a meeting before sending the matter to court. He would have Barnes tell the board members why he fabricated a lawsuit so just in case there was any of them who still doubted his innocence, it would be reaffirmed.
