BIRTHDAY SPEECH
Raegan cursed underneath her breath and Cade turned to face her.

"What's wrong, baby?" Cade asked.

He looked at where she was looking, but did not see why Raegan should shout. It was just her father greeting people and he did not see anything that warranted Reagan's cursing.

"Nothing, I just felt a slight pain in my back," Raegan lied. Cade did not believe her. How did a slight pain cause one to say cuss words, while looking in a particular direction?

"Really?" He asked. Raegan looked at him and sighed. She did not want to tell him that she had just seen her ex boyfriend exchanging pleasantries with her father at her own birthday party where her father was supposed to be courteous enough not to invite an ex that cheated on her. She decided to come up with a better lie. She didn’t want to tell Cade about Maxwell, she just wanted to forget that Maxwell even exists.

Do you think Raegan is doing the right thing by not telling Cade about Maxwell? Let's hope it doesn't cause problems for them in the future. As for Maxwell, he's obviously up to no good
