Cade visited Raegan at her house immediately after being discharged from the hospital and taking the trip back to their city. His mother called while he was on the jet and he reassured her that he hadn’t been in his right mind when the video was taken. She asked him to use the evidence of the hospital toxicology report to clear his name immediately but doing so would require press conferences that could take hours. He had to speak to Raegan first because to him, she was the most important person. As long as Raegan believed in his innocence, he didn’t care who hated him. Cade looked up and saw Raegan staring into her phone. From the shocked expression on her face, she must be watching the same video he just saw. He walked to her and took the phone from her. This wasn’t the kind of thing she should see, it was traumatising. Just like Cade’s video, it was released by another anonymous account and was already going viral. Cade dialled a number, “Take down the video of Raegan. If it’s not off every social media site in the next ten minutes, you’re all fired.” He disconnected the call immediately. Raegan still looked stunned. “Cade, I… that isn’t me. I was at home all through yesterday night. The CCTV footage can prove it. Weeks later, the Milton Conglomerate in conjunction with Maxwell Jordan began the actualization of the idea that Maxwell brought to the table for Cade. The beginning of the process was quite hectic for Cade. He had meetings with the board members to deliberate on the percentage of payment they were to receive and to pay the workers whom he would hire for the job. But soon enough, the process became quite smooth. Cade opened branches of The Milton subsidiary all over the country, and in no time it became popular across the country and gained massive patronage just as Maxwell had predicted. Cade was so proud of Maxwell's idea, that he decided to throw a party to acknowledge the genius of Maxwell's idea. The party was to take place on a weekend and Maxwell was allowed to invite as many of his friends as he wanted. And Maxwell was going to do just that. But when he got there, he did not see Raegan anywhere around. He stood outside waiting because he didn't want to just barge into the female restroom. He was hoping that she would come out, but when he had waited at least ten minutes and she had not shown up, he decided to go in. He first knocked on the main door, calling her name, and when there was no response, he went in. He began knocking on all the doors of the bathroom, but no one came out and he discovered they were only closed, not locked because the bathroom was empty. That was when Cade's concern peaked.He headed back to the arena, telling himself that he must have missed her, or that she must have been out socializing. He really hoped that it was either of the two. But he got back to the arena and found that she was not there. The party was coming to an end and people had began to vacate the arena. Cade's security staff had only assembled and were waiting for his command when his phone rang. He hurriedly picked it up thinking it was Raegan, but his flare was cut short when he remembered that he was holding Raegan's phone in his other hand. It was an unknown number calling and he had a bad feeling about it."Yes?" He said grumpily into the phone. "Baby?" Raegan's shaky voice spoke from the other end of the line."Raegan?! Where are you? Cade lost control of his vehicle after being slammed from the side. He was trying to get the car back under control when he was slammed again, this time from behind and he smacked his head against the steering wheel. Blood began to flow down the side of his face and the car swerved out of the main road onto a side street and crashed against a wall. The airbag inflated and prevented him from smacking his head against the steering again or worse, the glass window.Cade groaned and removed his seatbelt, then forced the half smashed car door open and got out of the car. He leaned on the wall for support and turned to find a way out before his attackers would come for him. He heard a car stop and footsteps coming in his direction but he was wounded and couldn’t run. He immediately contacted Macaulay.“I’ve been ambushed. I can’t talk for long. Track me through my phone’s location, I’ll try to keep it on me for as long as I can before they take it, just in case their aim is to kidnap me.” H

Cade was immediately admitted for treatment. He had lost a lot of blood since he was stabbed, and was so close to passing out. Macaulay however, had work to do. He contemplated reporting the case to the president before leaving, or just leaving to get his answers. He chose the last option after a little while of deliberation. Even though he told the president, he could do almost nothing to help other than increase security. Macaulay wanted to step into fire. He left two of his men in charge of Cade before he left early the next morning after making sure Cade’s condition was stable. "Do not take your eyes off him for even a second," he said to them. Then he left. Robin was a man of small build, popularly called Robinhood in his neighborhood because of his name. He lived a pretty normal, boring life on the outskirts of the city, and would only travel when he was needed for a job.
