Cade decided it was time to carry out his second important meeting of the day. He had stalled it for far too long, and now he was determined to get it over with. He had been avoiding speaking to his father; the father and son had not spoken to each other since Cade's arrival. Cade sounded so formal, and his formality made his father feel guilty for getting angry at his question. It was after all just a harmless question, and Cade was his son too. There was no problem being a curious child. Cade intentionally didn’t mention that he also wanted to know how his father was able to get such a large sum and give it so easily. However, in the past three years, the company had been unable to host as much of these events as they used to due to the losses they accrued when Cade disappeared. Cade tried his best to stay focused for the rest of the event. He was surprised at how disorganized he had become. It was unlike him to lose his shit, especially when it had to do with a woman. He retained his sanity when Hailey, a very sexy woman, stripped naked in front of him. Gale's attempt at trying to reunite Cade and the president's daughter failed. He had written several times to the president to request a meeting with his daughter. His requests were not met, neither were his emails read. The truth of the matter was that Gale had been writing to an obsolete email without even knowing it. If only he knew about this error and channeled his requests to the right e-mail, then Cade and Raegan may have had an opportunity to meet and become friends by now at least. He gave up on his attempts. He would just have to find another way to help his boss.But the help he was seeking came to Gale on a platter of gold. The president himself reached out to Cade himself, requesting a meeting with Cade at the presidential villa. The walk to the garden was plagued with an awkward air so that Raegan began to hum a song and Cade followed suit, humming a different song and they both produced a disastrous melody together. They got to the garden and Cade saw that as the president had said, it was decorated in the most romantic way he had seen. He wondered why the president had done this. He would ask Raegan.
