DISBELIEF AND PAIN

Cage was filled with trepidation as he walked into the building. He was unsure of what to find out about his grandfather's involvement in the evil plot against him.

He wondered if the detective really had very concrete evidence against him or if it was just a pointer. If it was the former then that would be very shocking, indeed more shocking than he had felt the first time he was told about it. The officers greeted him as he walked in with a smile on his face, trying to keep out the trepidation he had his heart hammering. He was met by the detective outside. The detective's face lit the moment he saw Cage.

"Hey, Cage," the detective greeted him, gesturing for him to follow him. "Thanks for coming in." He nodded, as he felt his heart beat even faster.

"I need to know the truth." His voice was trembling with emotion. "Whatever it is, I can handle it."

The detective smiled again before he walked Cage into the small interrogation room. He recognised it instantly. It was the same room
