THE GREAT REDEMPTION

They were dressed like rascals. They walked to the boot and opened it before dragging someone out. Cage watched on, holding the fake will. He could feel the tears gathering in his eyes when he saw Chloe again.

He'd never thought it would come to this, but this was him, dealing with it. In the background, the detective asked his men to get ready. They moved their fingers to the trigger and waited patiently. Mason wasn't out yet. After they pulled Chloe out, Cage wasn't surprised when he saw how she looked.
