10. THE BEGINNING OF REVENGE

"What are you doing?" asked Joshua, approaching Daren who was sitting there staring at his phone screen very seriously.

Daren wouldn't have noticed Joshua's approach, had the man not immediately asked the question.

"Looking at the news," Daren replied briefly.

Joshua directed his gaze, wondering what news Daren was watching that would make him so focused and unaware of his surroundings?

"Not important news." Daren was evasive and immediately turned off his phone screen. Joshua snatched it out of Daren's hand.

The news Daren was watching was definitely not ordinary news. Joshua thought so.

"I've become curious. What's the news that's got you so discouraged?"

Joshua glanced at Daren who looked away. Lazy to argue.

Since there was no response, Joshua turned the phone back on.

He moved the screen of the flat object, looking for the watch history that Daren had seen earlier.

"Is she Shery, your wife?" asked Joshua, guessing. He had never seen Daren's wife in person. However, from the news, he guessed that the woman was Sherly.

He kept looking the other way. There was a tinge of annoyance that Daren could not hide.

As a man who had lived together, Daren was naturally upset and angry. It was still fresh in his memory, how that day, Sherly had made out intimately with another man in her room.

Daren would never forget that betrayal.

Joshua nodded in understanding, "do you still love her?"

Daren did not immediately respond, but behind his silence, Daren understood the meaning of the story.

Daren remained where he was. However, his mind began to think of many things. Especially his revenge plan. To destroy Sherly and her family. In addition, Daren wanted to reveal the mysterious death of his father-in-law.

Daren was sure that there was someone else in the room before he got there. In other words, it was the person who had killed his father-in-law.
