The woman took Oliver to her house which was just around the corner from the old apartment. Oliver can still walk despite his stabbed that was bleeding but the wound is not deep.

They rushed into the small room and she laid Oliver on her bed for treatment. ''Just a moment. I'll just take some medicine.'' Oliver endured the pain for a while but the woman returned with medicines to treat his wound.

''Let me take care of you.'' Said the woman who slowly wiped the wound with a clean towel. ''I'm sorry for what happened. If you just ignored the trouble earlier. You wouldn't have been hurt.'' The woman apologized but Oliver just stared at her.

"Do you think I can leave someone just to get out of trouble? And be safe?" Oliver asked softly, stopping the woman for a moment.

''What if I left you there and those men killed you?''

''And who cares if I die?''

Their eyes met again, Oliver could see in the woman's eyes that she was confused about why someone helped her even though she have nothing in return.

''I don't care if you die. But I care about your dreams in life. Maybe, we are just alike. I also did the same thing running away from the debts when I have nothing to pay that leads me into trouble.'' Oliver said seriously. Tears were forming in the woman's eyes that she was holding back.

''I understand that you don't want anyone else to get involved in the mess you're in. But we need help sometimes, whether we want it or not. Just to survive.''

The woman went silent as she remembered something when she noticed Oliver's familiar face.

''I was right that you are a good person.'' The woman smiled, Oliver thought she was weird when she suddenly smiled.

"Do you know that your face is all over social media? Posted in some articles that say you're a stalker who abused a woman and then hurt the son of a rich CEO."

Oliver was embarrassed but he held his breath waiting for his wound to be treated. ''I watched the video of you crying over the woman who dumped you over a rich man. What you did was embarrassing in the eyes of others, but that girl who was able to cheat on you is even more embarrassing.'' She let out her opinion.

Oliver couldn't help but be slightly amused by her.

''I already said a lot, better you take a rest first. I'm very sorry again Mr.Sullivan.'' she apologized to him.

''Is it unfair that you know my name but not yours?'' Oliver replied. The woman who sat down on the other chair, resting, smiled.

''I'm Juliet Hayes. I'm a baker in this neighborhood.'' She introduced herself. Oliver noticed that she was wearing an apron.

While Oliver was taking a rest, Julie cooked something for him to eat when he woke up.

She couldn't serve delicious food to the one who saved him, there were no other ingredients in the kitchen. She could only cook porridge for him so she was ashamed.

Julie couldn't help but look at Oliver sleeping in the bed because of his attractive appearance. It was like she was staring at a living character from the romance books she was reading.

She can't deny his charms.

Oliver has a pointed nose and long eyelashes that can be seen when his dark green eyes are closed.

She gulped to observe his red juicy lips that were soft to kiss.

''Why does he look more like a rich man's son?'' she mumbled, shaking her head as she returned to her cooking.

Julie opened her cell phone as she waits for the food and scrolled through social media and saw that Oliver was still a hot topic because of the scandal. She reads some negative comments about Oliver that he knows are untrue.

She knew they were judgmental people, she sided with Oliver because she saw the goodness in him.

Julie knows the girl Merideth who used to be her classmate at high school. They are old best friends back then but Meriden forgets about her.

She also knew how high Merideth's dreams were in life. So she thought that maybe Merideth just used Oliver to get into the big company and knew someone richer.

But Oliver doesn't even remember Julie because it's been a long time since he saw her.

Hours pass quickly, and Oliver wakes up to the sun shining on him from the window. ''Good morning Mr. Talk of the town.'' he received greetings from Julie who is dressed in her baking attire.

''It's morning already? Wait a minute. I'm dizzy.'' Oliver almost fell when he stood up but Julie made him sit back on the bed.

''Your wound from the stabbing has not yet healed,'' she reminded her, ''And this too.'' she pointed to his chest where his wounded heart was hiding, 'You better rest in my room for a while.''

''My apartment is nearby. I don't give you the responsibility of taking care of me.''

''I owe you a lot. So let me take care of you until you get better. There is a porridge I cook last night but so it's not hot anymore. You slept so deeply last night that I didn't wake you up.''

Julie held out the bowl. Oliver started eating when he felt hungry.

''I'll leave you here alone for the meantime, Oliver, I still have a duty at my uncle's bakery shop. It's just around near our street and I'll bring you some pastries later. Wait for me. Don't leave.'' Julie was about to leave but Oliver pulled her.

''Are those men chasing you gone?'' he asked worriedly.

''I hope those idiots are gone.''

When Oliver was left in the room, he thought again about what happened last night and his father's deal.

Suddenly, his phone rang and he was a little surprised to see that it was Merideth who called.

"Hello Oliver." Her voice is like a poisonous snake, Oliver didn't answer, "I didn't expect you to run away from the police station so quickly. Don't worry, people like you only deserve to live in the dust. Do not appear in front of me again, or I and my future husband will only let you more than death."

Oliver sneered. Is that what she wants? He hung up and turned off his cell phone. Some plans swirled in his mind.

"They don't know what I'm capable of." He whispered.

And the revenge of the vagabond will begin.
