Chapter 32

As the group was heading towards the library basement Rex notice that the lamp is and was beginning to flicker and then he remembered that he had forgotten to actually add oil to it since he was in such haste for the meeting, the flame danced delicately in its glass and metal prison seemingly taking its final steps.

The boys sighed heavily.

"Miranda it looks like we will have to rely on your own lamp later,"

he realized that the group had been awfully quiet as they had been working and the moment he spoke his voice broke through the silence and came out a little louder than he expected it's true since that was the first words that were spoken in so long and the reaction to it was not disappointing either Miranda looked as if she was going to jump out of her shoes the moment she heard him speak and he wondered what made her so jittery maybe she didn't just like the darkness.
