A Perfect Reflection

I stared at my reflection in the mirror as I couldn’t help but feel so good about myself. If I cannot praise my mom for anything, I would always praise her for the fact that she always knows how to pick the perfect dress for each occasion for me.

She had always done that right from the beginning. She always wanted me to look so perfect and this was just a perfect opportunity. As I stared at my reflection with a white smile on my face, I couldn’t tell but vision and it had beside me.

I blinked my eyes for some while hoping that it would make me stop thinking about her, but I could still see her beside me. It frustrated me. I couldn’t help but think.

“She is coming to the banquet with me. Right?“ But I was not sure. With the way she looked at me, I am not sure she would accept my offer and come. I don’t even think she would be allowed to go.
