Helen came out just then and noticed the ring on Lucy's finger first. She was amazed as she walked close to her, eyes wide.. she had abandoned her juice she had been holding on a nearby stool and was now Directing her gaze on Lucy's finger.

" Hey, Lucy is married?"

She asked as she walked even closer. She was not ready to absorb the surprise. As she got closer, Lucy lifted her hand to accord her a good view.

" Yes, honey.. I am married now and Sad thing is I am moving away from here."

She said as Lucy plopped on the sofa close to her. She was now grimacing. She made a face to show that it was sad indeed that she was relocating.. she was not genuinely sad though. She had previously talked about how she desired to go away from New York and go reside somewhere else. She never mentioned where she would rather be but she had said countless times she would like to relocate soon.
