Sylvester stared at the dot on his screen, blinking against the coordinates and lines.

It was the tracker he had put on the boy, and the boy had already started moving, having finished his end of day sales, perhaps.

Now, Sly just needed to find where he lived, so that he could begin paying the boy regular, more constructed visits, not like the cold standoffish conversation they had in the alleyway. He needed to make the boy see that he could fight for a better life, not just for himself, but for whatever was keeping him on the streets.

The dot stopped moving.

Not completely, just…around a particular point.

"An abandoned construction site?" he muttered to himself, narrowing his eyes.

This couldn’t be the boy’s final destination. It was either he was remitting money to his suppliers, or taking stock for the next day’s sales. Or he was being jumped.

There was the excuse that this could have been his home, since he did look like a runaway, but most runaways would have taken shelter in mor

“Please, spare me… don’t kill me. I’ve got family.” Sylvester squatted before the terrified guard. He slowly looked around at the guards lying on the floor, some dead, and some unconscious while some were writhing about in pain.He looked back at the guard who was before him. Sylvester wiped off some of the blood on his gloves against the guard’s cheeks and the man shrieked in fright and shrank back, trying to put some distance between himself and Sylvester but it was no use. Sylvester had completely put both his legs out of commission.“Stay away from me…” Sylvester just kept smiling at the guard. “Or else what?”The man drew out a pistol from its holster and pointed it at Sylvester, switching off the safety.“You should think very well about if really want to make use of that thing. Can you deal with the aftermath?” Sylvester asked the guard casually, not at all bothered by the gun’s cold nozzle against his forehead. After a while, the guard’s arm dropped, the gun coming to rest o

They made their way out of the basement, employing stealth. Anyone they met on the way, they dealt with efficiently and silently. Sylvester stopped moving at the door, pausing briefly. His team followed suit, standing atattention behind him, waiting for his order. He looked at the eyes of his four students, seeing the pain and anger in them. He knew theorder they were expecting and hoping for. He also knew if he gave the order, they would obey itwithout reserves. But he had other plans. “Go.” Sylvester ordered, his expression grim. His team blinked at him in confusion, not understanding the questions. “Pardon?” “Go.” he repeated. “Get out of here.”Finally, his order sunk in and when it did, their expressions grew dark. “But__”“No arguments. Find a way and get out of here… alive. How you choose to escape is up to youas long as you get out alive.” Sylvester interrupted their question. “Master but__” Sylvester's eyes glowed angrily, halting whatever protest Otto had been a

“I welcome you all to hell.”Viktor’s hated mocking tone grated on Sylvester’s nerves but what really got to him was what Viktor’s presence in the storage room now meant.Jasper had indeed betrayed them. Sylvester wasn’t ready to believe Jasper really sold them out but Viktor was the proof he was refusing to accept.“Where’s Jasper?” he growled out at Viktor.Viktor pretended not to know who he was asking of. “Jasper? I don’t think I have ever heard that name.” “Stop messing with me. You know what I can do when I get angry. Everyone pointing at me would have to die a pointless death.” Sylvester pointed out.Viktor exclaimed like he had just remembered something…or someone important. He snapped his fingers. “Oh…Now that you mentioned it, I think I remember this Jasper you speak of. Here, let me bring him out so we see if it’s the same person we are referring to.” There was an evil glint in his eyes as he locked gaze with Sylvester. He smiled like an evil clown and snapped his finger

The spokesman looked at Sylvester with his jaws hanging open in shock. “How did you get this?” he demanded once he recovered his composure. He slammed the file shut and slid it towards his companions.Sylvester shrugged. “Its something juicy I couldn’t resist the urge to sink my teeth into.” The man glared at Sylvester as he slowly withdrew his mobile phone from his breast pocket. His eyes still fixed on Sylvester; he spoke in a strange language into the device. He replaced back in his shirt pocket when he was done.Sylvester could practically feel the hatred conveyed in the look the man fed him but what he interested him most was the smell of his fear. It was pungent enough for Sylvester to almost taste it.“The CEO will be here shortly…sir.” He informed Sylvester through clenched teeth but Sylvester didn’t care for his tone.“I’m not going anywhere. I have got all day and some more.” Sylvester said casually spreading out his arms to emphasize the size of his patience. While they w

Later that night, Sylvester had to explain multiple times to his team why they couldn't storm the estate that night despite them being ready to go. He knew they were gearing for some action, hell he was too but at the same time he had to be rational so the mission doesn't ends up being a suicide mission. “Besides, we need to hear from Jasper first before we make our move or it will all be for nothing.” he told them and they reluctantly accepted his reason, going back to their various quarters to sulk over being idle. When by the next day, Sylvester hadn't still heard from Jasper, his worry level climbed but still he hid it well for the sake of his team. Lacking the energy to explain to them once more why it was dangerous to move without word from Jasper, Sylvester barricaded himself in his study, observing the movements of the truck driven by the merchant employee. Luckily enough, the tracker hadn't been discovered within the bed of the truck, making it easy to monitor its movem

Sylvester instructed Gerald to summon everyone in his team. When they came, they met him deep in thoughts so they stood patiently before him military style till he was done analyzing whatever he was analyzing in his head. He looked up at them, his eyes finally registering their presence. “We have a problem guys.” He told them, his mouth a hard line. “We know where the machines were moved to though.” It was Hozert who spoke up. “So what’s the problem, boss? If anything, I think that’s good news.” "I couldn’t agree more with you. Yes, it’s a good thing but why there is a problem is because the security around machines now has increased to code red.” “We will still take them out. Viktor’s men are just a bunch of untrained cut throats thrown together.” Otto said, slamming the fist of one hand into the open palm of the other. “Yes, it would have been that simple if it was just Viktor's barbarians but…” Sylvester paused, nodding at Gerald. “... I think it's better you hear it from h
