Just then, Mello and Alexa walked back into the party, both smiling brightly. Alexa now wore Mello's suit jacket over her gown, a sight that made Ella's frustration boil over. It wasn't just her; all the girls present seemed to share her annoyance.

Ella couldn't stand it anymore. If Mello was going to stay with Alexa, she'd rather leave than endure the sight of them together. She'd rather be at home where she wouldn't have to compete for attention.

"Yes, I'm leaving," Ella said, trying to keep her voice steady.
