Sean picked up his phone and began dialing numbers with swift, practiced movements. Each call was brief but urgent, as he reached out to his network of informants scattered across the city. The minutes ticked by, each call yielding little useful information until finally, one of his contacts answered with a shaky voice.

“Sean, I’ve got something,” the informant said, a note of excitement in his tone. “I saw Ray last night, right after he took Lisa. I’ve been tracking him since.”

Sean’s attention sharpened. “Where did he go? Give me the details.”

The informant quickly relayed the information. “He headed towards the woods on the edge of town. It’s a rundown area, easy to miss. The exact spot is a place not known to all . It’s secluded, not a place many people go. I'll make the area on the map and send it to you”

Sean’s mind raced as he took down the location. “Thanks for the tip. I’ll handle it from here.”

He hung up and immediately ignited the engine.
