Mello smiled and nodded. "Agreed," he said, looking back at Lisa. "Let’s leave the past where it belongs and just be thankful for this moment."

Lisa pulled Mello into a hug, wincing slightly as he did. Lisa noticed the pained expression on his face and looked at him with concern.

"What’s wrong?" she asked, her voice filled with worry.

"Nothing," Mello said with a reassuring smile, though his face betrayed his discomfort.

Kelan, standing nearby, sent Mello a stern glare. “He hasn’t fully healed from his injuries and isn’t supposed to be up and about. But he insisted on coming here to surprise you,” Kelan explained, his tone a mix of frustration and concern.
