The man with the scar narrowed his eyes at them, clearly not satisfied. "Before we talk prices, I need to know—who’s your boss? I don’t deal with just anybody."

One of the decoys smirked, leaning forward slightly. "I can’t give you that information just yet. But what I can tell you is that our boss is a high-ranking government official, someone with a lot of influence."

The scarred man raised an eyebrow, his skepticism fading slightly. "A government official, huh? That’s interesting." He tapped his fingers on the desk, considering the words carefully. "If that’s true, you should have no trouble paying the price I’m about to offer."

The men nodded confidently. "We wouldn’t be here if we couldn’t handle the cost."

The scarred man leaned back in his chair, seemingly satisfied for now. "Alright. Let’s talk business then."

"And one more thing," one of the decoys said, pausing as the conversation turned serious.

The scarred man raised an eyebrow. "What?"
