Chapter eleven - Road to power

Mello chuckled and casually dropped the necklace he was holding, then turned to face them .

" Would you like me to do it again." Mello said, a mischievous glint dancing in his eyes noticing the scowl forming on the man's face.

Few people gathered around to see what was happening. A look of fear was on their face as they recognized the thugs as a member of the Black kings.

" I'll teach you a lesson for this!" the man growled, lunging forward to grab Mello by the collar with brute force

With a smirk, Mello skillfully dodged the man's grasp, retaliating with swift blows.

At the same time, a black card fell from Mello's pocket, it's significance unnoticed by all but a few keen observers.

The man painful cries filled the store leaving an astonished look on everyone who watched.

The other two thugs became hesitant after seeing what happened to their companion.

" Let's go man, he ain't worth the stress," they muttered and dashed out of the store.

The man was enraged.

" No. I'm never letting
