AT THE RESTAURANT

Alarick and Charlotte sat in the car as the driver took them to their destination. It was silent apart from the sound that Alarick's typing was making. Charlotte looked over at him and tried to make out what he was typing but to no avail. She couldn't see a thing that is unless she was willing to move closer to him. She removed the thought from her head immediately. She didn't want him to think she came close to him for another reason.

Charlotte looked out the window with a nonchalant attitude. Yes, she was going to escape today but right now she was bored out of her mind. They had been in the car for fifteen minutes already and she had nothing to do. At least he had a phone to keep him busy, she could do nothing but look around. She clenched her fingers wishing that she still had her phone with her. It would have been better than riding in a car in silence.
