SHUT IN

The burial of Jonathan was surreal to some but at least he was now resting in peace. At the end of the day, the people that had come to mourn him had all gone back to their respective homes. Everyone including Grace and Charlotte. Grace had a contract business to attend to so after the burial she left to return after a few days.

It was only two days after the burial but Cillian had gone into a mild depression. Not coming out of his room, not eating or even speaking to anyone including his son. It was unlike him. He had been stronger when the case was still fresh but after the news of not being able to convict the culprits for Jonathan's death, he went on a downward spiral.

Alarick could tell that his father was in a fragile state after losing someone that close to him, now he just needed to find a way to put Jonathan's killers behind bars. That would probably help his father heal.
