The gift before them brought jaw dropping gaze from the crowd, while Lady Erica stood with her gaze high up in the air

"Jack Sparrow is the real deal!" Praised Kevin.

"Unlike that flinch who can barely afford to feed himself!"

"It was nothing! I just wanted to make a simple surprise for Victoria and nothing more!" Jack Sparrow returned with a subtle smile on his face.

"A simple surprise you call it! You're so modest Jack Sparrow and can't wait to have you as my Son-in-law already.

Shouldn't you sometimes talk about the gift that Jack got for you?" Lady Erica's eyes were carved in a questioning manner as her gaze bore right through Victoria..

Victoria hesitated with her gaze titling right into each other. For a few moments, her gaze fixed in the clear space that was before him..

"Oh! The gift! That's very much Jack Sparrow. It was so thoughtful of you. But until we get married, can we skip getting the expensive gifts?" Victoria ended walking off from the place

The thanks that came off from her lips was not a inch closer to her heart."

She raced closer to the Villa of the Zlate family, the subtle tune her vines pulsing in her head causing a creek of pain to creep through her back..

Ever since Victoria saw Saint face at the wedding ground, she hasn't been able to get her mind off him.

Those words that sent pain trolling right into his heart like sharp edged needles pained her even more than himself.

However, it was the best for them. Or so she thought..

Victoria looked around, hoping she could catch a glimpse of the Saint. However, after searching through the Villa, he was nowhere to be found.

Worries crawled all over her skin and her face tickled over with sweat. Saint has a fair history of doing stupid things because of her, even to the extent of injuring himself one time.

"What if he is on his stupid trends once again?" The thoughts forced out of Victoria's lips as she shivered with worries.

"Have you seen Saint anywhere?" Inquired Victoria from one of the maids.

"Yes! He said he would be heading to a bar and somewhere else!" The reply of the maid met with the irritation that came strolling off from the people that made their way into the Villa

Their brows sparkled with irritation and a bitter sensation came rising off through their throat.

"What do you need for Victoria? He is no longer a member of this family. And soon enough, he won't even have the right to be around here.

You should already be used to him not being around?" Patricia scowled, however, Victoria remained unfazed.

"If you would let me, I have someone to stop me from doing something stupid." She returned, trying to walk away.

But the crossed hands from her mother forced her to stop right on the spot, their intense gaze eating deep into each other as the hate in the room increased.

"Then you should let him. It would be easier for us. Eitherways, you can't go see it even if you wanted to. You have other places to be!"

Victoria's eyes deepened into their sockets with confusion. The last time that she remembered, she didn't have any schedule with the rest of the family.

Not like she would even want one. Accepting their offer to get married to Jack Sparrow didn't immediately translate to allowing them to make ridicule of her current husband when they weren't properly separated yet.

"Oh. You aren't aware of this. We are introducing Jack Sparrow to the rest of the Zlates as your husband-to -be. It would only be right for you to be there!

Right Victoria!" Lady Erica stepped forward.

Victoria could already feel the anger gradually sipping into her face and her skin tightened with the fury that she tried to control in her clenched hands.

"I'm afraid of my mother. But that isn't on my to do list!" With these words she left the villa

It was difficult for her to come to the acceptance that her family would fix an introduction for a man without her knowledge.

"Like it or not, you are going to be with Jack Sparrow and nothing can stop that!" A yell came after he while she ignored it

Her anger soon melted off into the worries that were written all over her face as her thoughts were placed on Saint once again.

Multiple possibilities came racing through the thin layers of her mind and the subtle beating of her heart was amplified in her hearings. She increased her pace..

Getting to the bar, the scent of alcohol making her stomach twitch, her eyes quickly ran off into every seat.

And there Saint was, talking to another lady. The growl on her face suddenly tightly and all her emotions tightened to an unbearable point.

"We aren't even properly divorced yet and he is already talking to someone else?" Victoria felt a bitter sensation rising through her throat at that instance, all the manners that she had learnt gradually slipping through her vines.

The way that they laughed at each other and exchanged drinks increased Victoria's anger and she could feel the heat rising through her vines.

Until it became unbearable.

Her legs paced over, barely aware of any sight that was before her until accidentally, she bumped right into him.

Victoria had not seen anyone before her. And she couldn't tell whose fault it was but an apology quickly voiced off from her lips.

"OMG! I'm very sorry!" She apologized quickly

However, staring at his white shirt, it was all littered with coffee stains. The cup that he held in his hands.

Quickly, Victoria brought a handkerchief off from her pockets in an attempt to clean off the stain while she continued cleaning.

"Yeah. Right there!" The words that came off from this stranger seemed like a moan forcing Victoria to a quick stop.

"You know an apology isn't going to do right? We should just take this off to bed already!" The man means words sent a cold chill down her spine.

"I am not 'another man' and Victoria is still my wife!" Saint retorted, trying to contain his anger. Jack's face contorted into a deep frown at the sound of Saint's voice. He stepped closer toward them, staring Saint dead in the eye. The hurt that coursed through her at that point prevented her from meeting Saint's gaze and she couldn't walk away from him either. Saint, sensing the way Victoria felt, placed

That bastard is gone out of our lives finally, why don't you open the door and let's celebrate it 'the way new couples do' instead of sulking." Jack said as he continued to knock on the door. How in the world had he let Victoria lock him out of her room. "You're the bastard here, Jack Sparrow and don't you even dare try to touch me because if you do. I'm going to smack the hell out of you." Victoria spat out at him in anger amidst the rising and falling of her chest.

She had immediately recognised him from the wedding. Lady Erica had been tending to the flowers in the gardening just to get rid of the boredom that was gnawing at her when she was approached by one of the guards who alerted about the presence of the man waiting to be received at the entrance of the villa. The restaurant buzzed softly with chatter as Victoria sat alone at a quiet corner table. Her fingers nervously played with the edges of an envelope resting on the table. Her heart pounded with a mix of fear and anticipation, her thoughts spinning over what she was about to do.She hadn’t seen Saint in days, and now, here she was, about to sever the bond that meant more to her than anyone could understand. It wasn’t fair—none of this was fair—but she told herself that this was her decision, that she wasn’t caving to her family’s relentless pressure. Even if that wasn’t entirely true. When the restaurant door opened, she glanced up instinctively. The sight that met her eyes made her heart stop. Saint walked in, and for a moment, Victoria couldn’t breathe. He buried his head in his hands as his gaze fell onto the floor. "I can't believe that this is happening....why is she doing this to us?!" Saint asked himself, buy there was no answer to his lingering question. He saw the look of pain and agony in Victoria's face as she retrieved the paper from the table. All the years he had been married to Victoria, he had never seen that look on her face. Seeing that look now, on her face, made his stomach churn. "Why is she doing this to herself, even. It just doesn't make any sense. Ire obvious that she does not want this, so why is she doing it?" Saint questioned himself again. He was unaware that other people in the restaurant could hear what he thought he was saying inside his head and had now dream attention to himself. He let his hands slide slowly down his

The man who had waited calmly for Saint to alight his car before striking the deadly hit to his head stood hovering over Saint. He threw the baseball bat that was now covered with Saint's blood at the tip into a corner and got down on one knee before he grabbed a handful of Saint's shirt and pulled Saint toward him.
