The living room was shrouded in a heavy tension as Nicholas and Mr. Philips waited in silence for Ryan to arrive. Nicholas drummed his fingers anxiously against his thighs, the rhythmic tapping echoing through the grand space.

Mr. Philips, on the other hand, sat perfectly still, his gaze fixed upon a point in the distance, as if he were lost in thought. There was a lot going on in both of their minds, but keeping quiet at that moment would be the best option.

The minutes ticked by slowly, the grandfather clock in the corner seeming to count each second with a resounding tick.

Nicholas stole a glance at Mr Philips, noting the deep lines etched into his brow, a telltale sign of the turmoil he must be feeling. Mr Philips had gone through alot all because of this issue and the fact that the real villain was lurking in the shadows of innocence while the innocent was suffering made him feel even more guilty.

Finally, Mr. Philips let out a weighty sigh, breaking the

The dim lighting cast an eerie glow over the scene, casting shadows that danced across the tall annoying walls. Ryan's brow furrowed as he recognized the man. "Luigi?" he breathed, his voice tinged with disbelief. Nicholas and Mr. Philips turned to him, surprise written on their features. "You know him?" Nicholas asked, his tone laced with curiosity. Ryan nodded slowly, his eyes never leaving the prone figure. "Who doesn't know Luigi? Wait, how were you able to capture Luigi?" "Why do you sound so serious?" Nicholas asked, his brows raised high. Ryan hurried beside Luigi, pressing his fingers on his neck, trying to feel his pulse, he then looked back at Nicholas, "Luigi is..." he paused, searching for the right words. The street lamps cast an eerie glow, illuminating the deserted road where they waited for Rage to arrive. Nicholas couldn't help but glance down at his watch, the seconds ticking by agonizingly slow. After nearly an hour of waiting, Mr. Philips finally broke the silence. "Do you think Rage is actually going to show up tonight, Nicholas? We've been waiting here since past 8, and it's almost half past nine. How long are we going to keep waiting?" Mr. Philips asked, his brow furrowed with concern. Nicholas shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant, though the uncertainty was evident in his voice. "I don't know. But I so hope he shows up." Ryan shifted in the backseat, drawing their attention. "The RMI members can be unpredictable, just so you know. Rage might have gotten suspicious and decided not to come... You know they have rules and regs

Mr. Du Pont stood rooted to the spot, his heart pounding in his ears as he gazed at the trio before him. Ryan, Nicholas, and Mr. Philips - three men he had once considered allies, now staring at him with menacing intent. Beads of sweat formed on his brow as he fought the urge to turn and flee. But he knew that would be futile - they would catch him in an instant. Steeling his nerves, Mr. Du Pont managed a weak smile. "What are you talking about, Ryan? What RMI? Me? You are joking, right?" he asked, his voice quivering ever so slightly. Ryan's expression remained impassive as he stepped forward. "Mr. Du Pont, we don't have time to this unnecessary discussion. You need to come with us. Now." Mr. Du Pont chuckled nervously. "Come with you? Where are you taking me?" Nicholas moved to stand beside Ryan, his brow furrowed. "You'll find out soon enough, Mr. Du Pont. But I suggest you cooperate, for your own sake." The implied threat sent a shiver down Mr. Du

The air in the dimly lit chamber had grown heavy, charged with an overwhelming tension as Nicholas turned his gaze to Mr. Philips, his weathered features a mask of stoicism. "Mr. Du Pont," Nicholas said, his tone measured, "what secret are the RMI organization keeping that you refuse to divulge? You have been working with the Royal group for years now, as well as the RMI. Your trust is with the RMI, not us... I get that and I'm fine by it. But you don't have any choice now, so tell me... What secret are you talking about and we won't have any problem." Mr. Du Pont's lips curled into a smug smile, his eyes glinting with a defiance that belied his precarious position. "I'm afraid I can't tell you any more than that, Nicholas," he replied, his voice dripping with false sympathy. Nicholas felt a flicker of annoyance at the man's condescendi

The air in the room was thick with tension as Nicholas, Mr. Philips, and Ryan took their positions around the two captives, Luigi and Mr. Du Pont. Luigi's sedative wore out quite quickly than even he had expected, so he woke up only to find out that his colleague had also been captured. Now, there was no way to escape. The men's faces were etched with a mixture of exhaustion and apprehension, their foreheads and noses still bearing the marks of their earlier altercation. Nicholas stood tall, his gaze boring into the eyes of the two men seated before him. The intensity of his stare was patent, as if he could peer straight into their souls and uncover their deepest secrets. Ryan, on the other hand, wore a scowl on his face, his frustration evident in the tight set of his jaw. Angrily, Ryan snatched Mr. Du Pont's phone from the table and hurled it towards him. "Your boss isn't answering the phone for goodness sake! I have tried the number for almost fifteen time

The Gydoni Central was eerily silent as Nicholas's Tesla glided through the deserted streets. The air hung heavy with the lingering moisture of an earlier rain shower, casting a dreary, isolated atmosphere over the area. Nicholas's eyes scanned his surroundings warily, taking in the lack of any visible human presence. "As usual! Cowards! They always have to hide to carry out their activities," Nicholas chuckled as he saw no one around. Typical RMI. As he turned a corner, an old, aluminum-clad mechanic's workshop came into view ahead of him. The building looked rough and weathered, its facade marred by rust and grime. Nicholas felt a twinge of unease as he neared the structure, unsure of what—or who—might be waiting for him there. Reaching into his pocket, Nicholas pulled out his phone and immediately dialed Scarlet's number. The phone rang only once before Scarlet answered. "Yoo! Mr. Nicholas Michael Loughty, if I'm right. I have been looking forward

Nicholas stood there, his eyes wide with shock, as he felt the impact of the bullet against his chest. The sound of the gunshot echoed through the mechanic workshop, and for a moment, he thought his life was about to end. But as he grabbed his chest, he realized he was wearing a bulletproof vest. As though he knew this was going to happen, he had put on a bulletproof vest before leaving the Loughty's. Instinctively, Nicholas bent down, his eyes darting around the room, searching for the source of the gunfire. The two lifeless bodies on the floor, their blood forming a gruesome pool around them, sent a chill down his spine. He knew he had to get out of there before the shooter struck again. Once again, the RMI have proven that they will always be a step ahead. Again, showing their superiority, but it won't end here. Without a moment's hesitation, Nicholas sprinted towards the exit as fast as he could, his heart pounding in his ears. As he burst through the door and into the Gydoni cen

"What exactly are you doing here? You should tell me!" Nicholas's bleary eyes slowly focused on the figure standing before him. Though his vision was hazy, he recognized the distinctive features of Nimah. He let out a frustrated groan, wishing he could escape her concerned gaze. What the hell is he doing here in the first place? And her annoying boyfriend? "You should leave, you're not allowed in here. I don't want to see you," Nicholas slurred, the alcohol making his words slippery and indistinct. Nimah refused to budge, her brow furrowed with worry as she moved closer. "Why did you have to drink so much, Niçholas. I could see you ordered so many drinks, you don't drink like this? What's the problem?" she asked gently, her tone laced with a hint of exasperation. "It's none of your concern, girl. Did I tell you I need your sympathy? No! I don't!" Nicholas snapped, the harsh words falling heavily between them. He felt a flicker of guilt at his own abr

"Ryan, make research on every possible place Malakai could be at the moment and the kinds of appointments he have. You need to be quick with it," he said, his voice laced with urgency. Ryan nodded, already moving towards the study. "I'll get started on it right away," he assured, his footsteps echoing down the hall. An hour later, Ryan returned, a triumphant gleam in his eye. I don't know where that is, do you?" Nicholas felt a chill run down his spine. "Dark Centre," he murmured, his expression darkening. "Yes. I know it well. Malakai has used it as a

Nicholas sat in his lounge, staring pensively out the window as he munched on the fresh fruit arranged on the table before him. The late afternoon sun cast a warm glow through the glass, illuminating the worry etched on his brow. He had much to contemplate. While Nicholas was munching on the fruits, Ryan, strode into the room. Ryan's expression was unreadable as he placed a manila file on the table in front of Nicholas. "I have some news," he said simply, grabbing an apple from the fruit bowl and taking a bite. Nicholas looked up, his eyes narrowing. "Good news or bad news? All I've been hearing you guys tell me since I came back is bad news, I don't want anymore." he asked cautiously. Ryan shrugged noncommittally. "That depends on how you look at it, I don't know if it's good or bad," he replied, chewing contemplatively. Feeling a growing sense of unease, Nicholas sat up straighter. "Well, what is it then?" he pressed. With a heavy sigh, Ryan met Nichola

India stepped out of her room, her carefully made-up face masking the tiredness etched on her soul. India's brow furrowed in confusion, her mind racing to piece together why Nimah would be waiting at her doorstep. "Nimah?" she questioned, a slight edge to her tone. "What are you doing here? What the hell? You scared me... How long have you been standing there?" Nimah swallowed hard, her gaz
