CHAPTER 201

The tires of Nicholas's sleek black Aston Martin screeched as he swerved sharply into the long, winding driveway leading up to the Loughty mansion. The gates parted to allow him entry, and he brought the car to a sudden halt, the engine rumbling menacingly.

Without a moment's hesitation, Nicholas flung open the driver's side door and strode towards the two armed guards stationed at the mansion's entrance. Reaching into his pocket, he produced the keys and tossed them carelessly towards one of the bewildered men.

"Drive the car to the park and leave it there," Nicholas commanded, his tone clipped and authoritative.

The guard fumbled to catch the keys, staring at Nicholas with bewilderment.

Nicholas didn't bother to elaborate or even spare the guards a passing glance as he marched past them and through the open double doors of the Loughty residence.
