"Finally." Sullivan sighed.

"I was beginning to think that perhaps Evelyn had murdered you."

Evelyn smiled inwardly while John sneered at her.

"She couldn't even if she dared." He groaned.

Erica noticed Evelyn was about to say something in defense so she quickly cut in because she was starving.

"Please let's be civil and have breakfast like humans. I'm starving."

"Of course lady Erica," John said bowing his head.

Sullivan gestured towards the maid that it was time to serve the meal.

Not quite long the maids came to the dining hall with a tray of the delicacy.

As usual, Sullivan prepared a feast.

As Erica gazed at the dish, her eyes widened with delight.

The breakfast spread before them was a culinary masterpiece. Golden-brown pancakes, crispy bacon, and scrambled eggs cooked to perfection.
