chapter 27

Erica stared into the room as usual, weeks had passed and she hadn't heard any words from Sullivan.

She had high hopes that he would return but he never came. She knew Sullivan didn't love her but he cared about her.

There was no way she was ever going to buy the whole charade he was trying to pull.

She knew he cared about her that was why she knew he had good reasons for doing this but the least she wanted was an explanation.

She sank onto the bed and sighed.

"I miss him." She mumbled to herself.

A door was heard on the door and Erica turned her gaze towards the direction.

"Come in," Erica said, holding onto the pillow on the bed.

"My lady dinner is ready." The maid said to Erica when she walked into the room.

"I'm on my way down," Erica replied then she dismissed the maid.

Erica strode over to the window and looked at the soldiers all busy with their activities.

Even though she hates to admit it she was a prisoner but in a good way.
