"Don't damn you see it? This is a credit card with unlimited transactions! How could this card be declined just because I spent no less than two thousand pounds, huh?"

Arthur's question made the person behind the counter just look down quietly. After all, it was not his intention to make the credit card Arthur had given her unusable.

"We apologise, sir. But the card was indeed declined and you know very well I have tried it three times in front of you. There may be a technical glitch going on. So, what about the payment?"

Jill, who had been waiting at the table, quickly got up and moved. She approached Arthur, who was busy arguing with a server after dinner.

"What's wrong, huh?"

Arthur was surprised to find Jill there. He swallowed hard before finally telling the truth.

"They said my card was declined. The police have opened up all access to our finances, haven't they?"

Jill chuckled, then looked at Arthur sharply. "You still have another card, don't you?
