"Since when did you become so talkative, Cobb?"

Jill's counterattack made Aland pause. He looked at Jill, who grabbed a plastic chair to sit across from him.

"How can I help you with coming all the way out here?"

Aland glanced at Shannon for a moment, trying to make sure that his wife was fully prepared. He looked again at his mother-in-law, whose new identity had been stripped away, leaving nothing of her once admired name.

"There's something I want to do about the key you gave me. Liliana's death."

Jill did not seem surprised at how quickly Aland had learnt the truth with just one keyword.
