Jill approached, trying to intimidate Tom by remaining arrogant. "Just because you heard a little of our conversation, you can't conclude something easily. This isn't what you imagined. Besides, what are you doing here? I never felt like I had an appointment with anyone today."
Tom was not to be outdone and also stepped closer with his arms crossed. "I'm here to see Ms Reynolds. We're a couple now, so wouldn't it be wrong if Ms Reynolds and I went on a date?"
Jill spluttered and turned to Camellia, who was again eating dessert with relish. She showed her the plate Shannon had left with the remaining dishes. "I don't think she'll going. She came in even before her dinner was finished. Maybe she's not feeling well."
