Jill blinked softly, trying to make excuses for questions that might be asked by the journalists summoned by Aland. Her smile never ceased to widen because she knew that this news would make her even luckier if she got it right.

"Ah, you're right. I should have brought it here. But really, I forgot not to bring it here. I think I left it at home. How about talking about this at the family dinner tonight?"

Aland was still expressionless. He nodded slowly before finally turning to Jill, who still had her hand on his arm. "How about telling them that Reynolds Industries is not actually yours, Mrs Reynolds?"

Hearing Aland's request, Reynolds' smile faded. She swallowed hard as all the journalists within earshot were so curious that they could not stop peppering her with unimaginable questions.

"What does Mr Fischer mean, Mrs Reynolds?"

"How could Reynolds Industries not be yours?"

"If you don't own it, then why are you the chairman?”
