Rhea Smith boldly walked into the living room of Lloyd Davies’s mansion, her wine colored pantsuit contrasting beautifully against her skin, and her stilettos clinking against the marble floor as she passed by Adrian, not without acknowledging him with a subtle nod, and approached where Anita stood.

She was well aware of the curious eyes on her as she came to a stop and turned to Nathan, whose face had paled considerably and her expression contorted into a frown.

“Nathan Davies,” she began, her voice icy and straight to the point. “If I could remember vividly, you were refused a contract when you came to the Alpha group yesterday, and were also thrown out. Why then do you claim that you secured a contract with us?”
