CHAPTER 182
The anger on Theodore’s expression morphed into one of pleasant surprise as he scooted closer to Ethan and touched his fingers.

Ethan flexed his fingers in Theodore’s grasp, and he sighed happily, “Indeed he’s awake. Thank goodness!” He reached out to Ophelia and her hand met his midway as they entwined their fingers to comfort each other.

Ethan slowly opened his eyes, and a pained groan escaped his lips as he tried to move.

“Mom, Dad,” he weakly called out as his eyes landed on them. “How long have I been unconscious?”

“A little over 26 hours,” Theodore told him as his face became etched with concern. “How do you feel?”

“Like shit,” Ethan croaked out, his voice feeling dry. “Everywhere hurts, and it feels like I was hit by a truck.”

Ophelia felt sorry for her son, and her expression twisted in worry as she couldn’t help but voice out her curiosity, “What happened to you, son? How did you end up like this?”
