As soon as Lawrence and Kai got inside the grand hall where Jordan Waynes’s party was being held, they scanned the room with sharp precision.The place was brimming with laughter as the guests engaged in light hearted conversation with each other.A tall, svelte and beautiful woman in a shimmering good evening gown stood on stage, her melodious voice echoing round the room as she sang classical tunes.Her presence commanded attention, yet Lawrence and Kai barely noticed. On getting to the scene, he saw Liam barking orders at a security guard to deal with a disheveled looking man and on a closer look, he saw that it was Adrian, his bastard son. Deep frown lines marred his features as feelings of anger and resentment towards Adrian festered within his mind.
