"I am sorry, but I can't marry Bianca." Alistair bravely said.

Evan was very stunned. He was supposed to sip his tea, but because of what he said, he was frozen.

"I know you are expecting me to have an annulment with my wife, but I just can't." Alastair said.

He was even ready to kneel down in front of him for him to spare his life and his family's life, because he knows the consequences to be if he didn't marry his clan bride.

"Alistair, are you aware of what you are doing?" he asked him.

"Yes, uncle. I know what I am doing." he replied.

Evan angrily put down the cup of tea and groaned. He was very disappointed in Alistair.

"It's not that easy, Alistair. You are the only Scott's heir and you should be doing this for your family!" he shouted.

Bianca's knees trembled as well when she heard her dad shout below. She knew Alistair really paid Evan for a visit to tell him about his final decision.
