CHAPTER FIFTY-NINE

“Oh! I’m sure it’s not that hard.” Kevin teased her.

Officer Helene raised her eyebrow.

She thought that Kevin wouldn’t know how much training it takes.

“You wouldn’t understand even if I explain and… I think it’s time for you to leave.”

She said impatiently.

“I have to go to work.”

Kevin looked at her with a quirky smile.

“Why aren’t you leaving yet? Do you want me to call a SQUAD car for you or something?”

Her impatience was beginning to show.

“I’ve got something here and I hope it can help you.”

Kevin said as he slowly took out a reddish brown pill from his pocket.

Last night, Kevin had followed the instructions in the book on medicine to come up with something that can help Officer Helene recover quickly.

“Did you use one of the old recipes in the books? What is it supposed to do?”

Officer Helene asked.

You could tell that she had her doubts but for some reasons, she trusted Kevin.

She was tempted to try it.

“I am not exactly sure.” Kevin replied.

Of course he didn’t want to tell
