CHAPTER NINETY-TWO

“Don’t worry mom, I am not doing anything bad. Trust me”

He assured his mother.

Then he thought for a moment before he continued,

“Mom, I’ll go to uncle Mathew tomorrow to get the money I lent the family. While I’m there, I’ll completely cut my ties with them. When we get back to Veridonia, I’ll hire a visiting nurse to help you and dad.”

“Why would you throw your money away like that? Your father and I aren’t old to the point that we would need help to take care of ourselves.”

Then his mother’s face looked worried,

“Kevin, will Lily be ok with letting us live with you? If she isn’t willing, you mustn’t force her. Don’t let us get in the way of your marriage.”

“Mom, don’t worry. My wife is very down to earth and understanding.”

Kevin said with a smile.

He wasn’t worried about Lily objecting at all because he knew she would definitely agree.

But even if she didn’t agree, Kevin could just buy another apartment for his parents to live in.

Money was the least of his problems right now.
