Lucas’s voice blared from the phone.

“Oh my! Drake, I hardly get calls from you. What is going on?”

Lucas asked directly.

“Mr. Lucas, the Jones family is planning to sell some shares and we’d rather sell it to you than some strangers. So, I’m wondering if you are interested.”

Drake talked seriously as he saw the amazed looks on his family member’s faces.

“How can I turn down an offer like that!?”

Lucas said candidly.

“Why don’t we meet up and talk about this face to face. In fact, I am in Veridonia right now.”

“That’s great, Lucas. Tell your driver to take you to the Jones family mansion. I’ll be waiting for you here.”

Drake hung up the call and turned around to speak to his grandmother,

“Grandma, it’s settled. Mr. Lucas will be here in a little while.”

“You are showing yourself to be very useful, Drake.”

Grandma Jones said with a smile.

“If you could succeed in this deal with Mr. Bernard, I’ll make sure you are next in line to inherit the family business.”

“Thank you, Grandma.”
