Fifty one

Doris, alighted from her car in front of the Dominic's mansion, she was hesitant to go in. It's being years since she had visited them. And she never came or called after getting the news that Mr. Marvin died.

Everywhere looked new to her. Things indeed have changed. The environment, the house structure everyone. She took a deep breath before ringing the doorbell. Once, she rang the doorbell, the gate was opened by someone. She walked in and met Mrs. Felicia, seated outside.

“Doris!”

She called in great surprise after seeing her. she hasn't seen Dori's,in years even though they live in the same city.

“ I am seeking for Pearl.”

She spoke and Mrs. Felicia, stared at her angrily. In so many years , she never came to look for her sister-in-law why now? She was also, among those who made this whole situation resulting into this huge crisis.

“Why? Have you come to finish what you started? I'm sorry, Pearl, is not here and she plan on leaving soon.”
