The room was tense as Gini's words hung in the air like an accusation. Mrs. Amaya's face hardened, and her usual air of superiority returned in full force. She took a slow, deliberate step towards Gini, speaking in an icy tone.

"You will not do such a thing, Gini," Amaya stated, her words sharp and cutting. "You will be sorry if you even consider confessing anything to Rowland. Not only will I ensure that the promise I made to you is no longer valid, but I will also fire you. Do you understand what I am saying? Fired and blacklisted.”

The threat remained, but Gini did not flinch. Rather, she squared her shoulders and spoke firmly as she confronted Amaya's glare.

"Mrs. Amaya, do you think I am concerned about the promise now? You have thrown me into a situation I did not want to be in. I will be the one behind bars for planting that bag if this blows up, which it will. The idea of my life being destroyed for something I was unaware of is too much for me to handle.
