Rowland's eyebrows were raised in interest and a little irritated as he motioned for Mia to enter. Despite her nervous manner, he could tell that whatever she had to say was significant.

"Close the door behind you, Mia," he instructed, his tone calm but firm.

As she was told, Mia entered the room and held out a tablet. “Mr. Rowland, I… I think you should watch this video. I tried to keep it quiet, but I thought you should see it before anyone else did."

Rowland took the tablet from her, his interest piqued. As the video started, the screen lit up with grainy footage of a familiar scene. It was his office.

The footage had a strange camera angle, as if it had been captured from a concealed device. Rowland's heart initially sank as he wondered what incriminating evidence might have been made up against him this time. However, as the seconds passed, his face changed from one of concern to one of surprise, and finally to a sly smile.

It was evident from the video that a man was searching t

“He is just one guy, why the hell can no one make him just fall!” Clinton’s frustration was rising. "First Lilly and now Gini have failed. Nobody, as if he were one superman."Amaya's heels clicked on the floor as she strode into their opulent home office. She was so frustrated that she tossed her purse on the desk. Clinton loosened his tie and closed the door behind her. As tension crackled between them, the faint sound of the city outside was all they could hear."I have had enough of this, Clinton!" Amaya paced the room, her voice sharp. "Every time we attempt to corner Rowland, something goes wrong. It is as if he is being protected by a divine shield! First the allegations collapsed, and now this recording? How could he have predicted that?"Clinton leaned back and massaged his temples in the leather armchair. "You do not realize how frustrated I am, too? Even though I have given it a lot of thought, the bastard continues to elude us. If it had not been for his meddling, we woul

"Do not worry, Amaya, for he will fall this time," was the audacious statement that Clinton had just completed when his phone's sharp chime broke the tense silence. He gave the screen a quick glance, his face unreadable, and curtly replied, "Yes?"Amaya kept a close eye on him, her piercing eyes narrowing at the slight shift in his voice. With occasional nods, Clinton paid close attention to the person on the other end. Then, in a cool but authoritative tone, he spoke. "Come in.""Who?" Amaya asked right away as her suspicions grew. Her eyes darted to the home office door as though a ghost were about to appear. However, Clinton disregarded her query, his expression blank, offering no clue as to what—or who—was about to happen."Clinton," she insisted, her voice firm. "I asked you a question. Who is coming?”Clinton said nothing, though, his eyes on the door as if he were pleading with the unidentified visitor to come. As the tension in the room increased, the quiet was broken by the d

As Rowland strode with purpose into his office, the morning sun cast golden hues over Fence Emerald Company. The building was magnificent, but it did not lessen the burden on his shoulders. His worries about evidence that might undo everything he had worked for were mixed with the Jones Company problem, which hung over his head like a black cloud.Rowland sat at his desk of polished oak and gazed at his laptop, assembling his thoughts as he scrolled through emails. If there is evidence available.'I have to act quickly.' His jaw tensed as he leaned back, rhythmically tapping his fingers on the desk. He was about to start reading another round of reports when someone knocked politely on the door."Come in," he said, his tone sharp but not harsh.Fatima entered with grace, holding a folder. Her composed manner provided a refreshing diversion from Rowland's mental turmoil. "Good morning, sir," she said, her voice steady. "I have an update regarding the investors and the project design."

Rowland leaned back in his chair, gesturing for Nicholas to continue, and Nicholas straightened his posture. He started to explain in a calm, methodical tone."The minor project I am referring to entails the creation of jewelry for small-scale retail outlets in three strategic urban locations," Nicholas said, clasping both hands. "The strategy is to concentrate on developing markets with substantial growth potential but little access to upscale retail experiences. Fence Emerald will need to fund the project's early stages with a small investment."Rowland continued to speak quietly, his sharp gray eyes fixed on Nicholas. "Alright, go ahead.""The design we are proposing emphasizes functionality and affordability while preserving the elegance Fence Emerald is known for," Nicholas said, gesturing slightly with his hand as if painting a picture. "It is not just about the physical structures; the customer experience is important as well."Slowly nodding, Rowland drummed his fingers on th

Rowland was still thinking about Nicholas's earlier presentation as he sat at his desk. He found the project intriguing in some way, but he could not get rid of a nagging feeling of unease. Rowland's instincts told him to look further, but Nicholas's cool-headed and methodical manner had been convincing. He reached for his phone, deciding that the best way to confirm what Nicholas had said was to give Khalid a call. Since his name was mentioned, Rowland relied on his keen insight to steer clear of any potential pitfalls.A knock on Khalid's office door interrupted his focus as he was ready to dial his number."Come in," Rowland said, placing his phone down.Fatima emerged from behind the door, clutching a stack of files. Her calm demeanor was matched by her neatly pressed clothing, and her sharp brown eyes never seemed to miss anything. Her heels clicked gently on the polished wood floor as she entered the room with deliberate steps."Mr. Rowland," she said, placing the files on his

The following morning, the air was clear and full of promise as Rowland strode into Fence Emerald's company. Today was crucial because the lead investor was set to finalize their interest in the retail design project, which could strengthen the company's position as the industry leader. Rowland's mind was clear and concentrated, the tension he had experienced over Nicholas temporarily buried under the burden of his duties.A recognizable voice interrupted him in the middle of his walk to his office.“Rowland!”He turned to see Clinton, walking calmly but impatiently toward him. Clinton had on an impeccable outfit, with a fitted suit that perfectly complemented his dominant demeanor. He fixed Rowland with his piercing gaze, and his tone was unmistakably tense."Good morning, Clinton," Rowland said, his face unimpressed.Clinton crossed his arms and stood squarely in Rowland's path. "Why was I not informed of today's meeting with the investors?"Rowland expected the day to start well

“Good morning. This is Rowland speaking.”As the meeting time drew nearer, the morning hum in Fence Emerald's office building subsided. With the earlier altercation with Clinton still fresh in his mind, Rowland sat in his office. He had to force himself to refocus. The goal of today was to secure the company's future, not to engage in small-scale power struggles. He had just started going over some last-minute project notes when his phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen and saw the lead investor's name, Mr Mark. Rowland responded right away, his tone steady even though the annoyance from his previous conversation was still there. The investor's voice on the other end was composed, yet it had a tone of regret. “Good morning, Mr. Rowland. I am calling about the meeting that is scheduled for today. Unfortunately, we will be unable to meet at the scheduled time due to unforeseen circumstances."Rowland's heart sank briefly, but he quickly adjusted his tone to remain professional. "I see.

Nicholas bounded out of Rowland's office, his footsteps reverberating through Fence Emerald's gleaming halls. He felt a mixture of adrenaline and victory as his heart thumped in his chest. Aware of the power they now possessed, he held the signed documents close to his side. He crashed into Fatima, who was also hasty in her feet, after turning a corner too quickly."Oh! I am so sorry," Fatima said, her voice flustered as she crouched to help pick up the scattered papers. "I did not notice you coming."Nicholas quickly dropped to his knees, moving quickly as he rushed to collect the documents before Fatima had a chance to examine them closely. "It is okay," he said abruptly, hardly giving her a glance. "I have got it!"However, Fatima's sharp eyes caught something that caused her to pause. Nicholas quickly grabbed one of the papers, which had Rowland's distinct signature at the bottom. Her brow furrowed as she stood, clutching a few stray sheets she had picked up.“Wait... Is that Mr

"It is no surprise that Mia has been assisting Rowland behind our backs. That girl has created her own obstacle, and you know how I feel about obstacles." Mr. Jones smirked, his expression darkened. "She has no idea what is going to happen. You are right, though. If we are going to deal with Rowland properly, we need to first neutralize Mia.” Mrs. Jones gave a nod, her eyes narrowing. "Exactly.
